We didnt get a puppy when we both work full time! We used to work from home for the last year or so, but now a change in careers means we have to go to work!

Like i said when we got lottie, we spent all our time with her!

She was a rescue dog and so before us she was abused by her owners! we give her a good home!

This puppy is also a RESCUE dog, we dont believe in buying them id rather rescue!

wouldn't have a dog if i where out working all day but you have one now its not nice for them left on there own all day get another staffy but you would have to have a dog because if you don't they may fite they would get on much better if they where one of each sex don't get a pup they are a lot of work and if you are away you don't know what may happen you need to get a dog around same age then they will keep one another company don't worry about comment my dogs are my little children

I don't know where you live, but with the extra money you both make I assume you could probably afford something like doggie day care. It's a deal many kennels now offer for people with similar situations like yours. Basically you drop your pooch off in the morning and pick it up at night. The ones around here have playtime and feed them treats just like a kids day care. It's got to be a better idea than getting another pet (don't take this the wrong way) that you don't have enough time for.

No you dont need another dog, thats not going to be around humans but part time. What are you planning to do with this little fellow? Keep it in a cage ( crate)? If you and your partner are not home, full time, no wonder Lottie is lonely.

Oo, tough call this. On balance, I can't advise getting a puppy if you'll both be out a lot of the time; probably wouldn't be fair on either dog and you wouldn't be around to train it etc. Would be eaiser if one of you could pop home during lunch to check in etc. and establish a routine perhaps? I agree with the other comment, keep the TV on and get home as early and often as you can!

why not think about an older dog from a rescue if you take her with you and let her decide yes or no to a new pal, after all it will be her who spends most of her time with it. Age, looks, ect are not important, but friendship is.

Just because it was a rescue does not mean that it was abused.

Of course she is lonely, dogs are pack animals and no you should not "get her a puppy". If you both work when will you have time to train it etc.?

Dogs take time and unless you are prepared to put lots of time in you will will have nothing but trouble.

She is not "your little girl" she is a dog.

HELLLLLLOOO.

I dont think its such a good idea to get a puppy. You need time and alot of patience for a puppy!!!

Can I suggest going to your local dog shelter and adopt an abandoned dog. This way the dog will already be trained (more then likely) and will be so apperciative of a new home...

Actually you nned to find a new home for your dog since you are gone all the time, YOUR lifestyle is not fair to the dog. Dogs need lots of playtime, socialization, your dog is not getting this at all. Since your careers mean long work days, a dog does not fit you at this time. Please find someone who is home more and think about getting a fish.

why did u get a dog if u work 24/7.getting another dog will make her feel jealous.so if u reaaly love the dog,get someone to look after it or give it 1 of ur neghbours(if they like dogs and they dont mind it),or give it 2 a relative who lives near ur house and if all that is not possible,it is better to sell her.a dog needs a lot of attention.giving her a room will spoil her ,instead give her anothhar hour of ur time.

Don't exaggerate the situation by getting MORE dogs. Leave the one you have got with a friend who already has a dog & free time, so there's company already there. (Thought that would've been obvious, really).
