There are mice pellets. They will not come back. I just sprinkle some outside my house. I guess it works coz i don't see them no more.

Snap traps work very well. Are those what you are referring to as "the little traps" though?
Glue traps are the worst possible option. If the trapped mouse does not gnaw its own legs off trying to escape, it dies slowly of thirst. While there are times it is regrettably necessary to kill mice, no animal should be tortured to death.
Poison works, and the new formulas are more humane than they used to be, but it gives you a new problem: instead of live mice running around, you have dead mice rotting. A dead mouse under your refrigerator may make you want to move out.
I usually use a mouse-sized Havahart trap, available at most good hardware stores. Bait it with peanut butter and place it along a wall near where mice or signs of mice have been spotted. Decant the mouse into a suitable container (a plastic critter cage will work) and take it out to a field somewhere, where it can fulfill its natural role in the food chain.
When you have more of a problem than you want to deal with by livetrapping, the spring traps are really the best option. If you're squeamish about handling dead mice, tie a piece of string to the trap (not to the bar; the spring is better) before you set it, then pick it up by the spring and dispose of trap and mouse together. The things are cheap enough, no need to re-use them.
Killing the mice, though, is only treating the symptoms. If you have mice, they have ways that they're getting into the house and reasons for being there. Block off any entrances they can be using. This will take some work, because mice can squeeze through a hole the size of your thumb and can climb straight up a brick wall. Then you need to shut off their food supply. Again, this can be tough, because mice can get into almost anything. Those little teeth are sharp. You'll have to put anything a mouse would want to eat into glass, metal, or ceramic containers. They can drill straight through plastic. Make sure you don't leave any food around, even dirty dishes.
Cats are less useful than one might think, especially in the typical cluttered modern house, because mice stay under cover and an awful lot of cats are slackers. Having a cat is nice for its own sake, of course.

the WORST way is the sticky tape "glue trap" thing that is simply gross/cruel they are so sticky the poor mice often chew off their own limbs to free themself but often end up sticking in other places.... death is slow and horrible
cats are very effective...
or the box trap that catches them and you can remove them to a forested area away from homes... or where ever (not farm land though.. as they can destroy crops)

Get a cat!!! Seriously, you could save an animal at the shelter, and at the same time, it will hunt your mice for you!! Good luck.

You will have to trap them. Either with a live trap or with the traditional snap traps or glue boards.
