She is hand raised and friendly, and it'd be a neat idea if it would work. How long until she gets used to it? I put her on it but she just freaks out, which of course is expected... but will she ever settle down? Is it mean to do?!?! I don't want to hurt her. But this way she'd be able to go boating and bike riding and roller blading with me which would be fun for her.

This annoying woman keeps trying to feed my snake SPAM, but he just won't take it. I can't really blame him, as I hate it myself. Is there any way I can stop this annoying person from offering him spam all the time?

My dog had roundworms and is be treating with meds been giving meds every couple of weeks till all gone,can i also start them on like heartguard plus to prevent heartworms and the other worms,or is this too much meds should i wait a few more weeks for the other dewormer to get out of there system?

and we had this whole situation with bathing the dog, so i had to wash the dog once a week with oatmeal shampoo so that I could deal with the smell, and I also cleaned up and feed and walked the dog a lot . I was very scared of the dog when we first got him, but then after some time I was ok with the dog. He is a stafforshire bull terrier, so he is a bull dog, but compact.So then one day I got mad at the dog because he was chasing my cat , I got up and told him "no!", which i have done many times before with no problem, but this time the dog growled at me. It freaked me out. I told my boyfriend and he just laughed it off. Then again the next day he was chasing my cat, and I told him "NO!", and he growled at me again and showed his teeth. It freaked me out so bad. I was shaken. I told my boyfriend that I know he loves his dog but that I just don't feel safe with him.But he got mad at me and said that if he has to get rid of his dog,I have to get rid of my cats. Is this fair?

our black lab was given a loading dose of lysodren for 10 days. at the end of this period he started getting listless , lost appetite & had trouble moving around. gave him the antidote prednisone which perked him up. started him on maintenance dose of lysodren of 2.5 pills once a week. 2 days later he again was not doing well. any suggestions? we are afraid to overmedicate our beloved dog , scout. we have been told by our vet that if the cushings disease progresses too far that he may start urinating in the house but we don"t want a drugged up dog either.

My husband and I adopted a puppy 6 weeks ago. He's now about 8 months old and is a lab/pit mix. He's a great dog with a charming personality and has fit in great in our household.

The problem is that we crate him while we are at work, then again while we are asleep - about 6-7 hours at a time. He is crated during the day 4 times per week and at night 7 times per week. I feel like this is too much time in the crate and is not fair to the little guy.

When he's not crated and we're not in the room, he tears stuff up. He's already going to training class, but that's more like sit and stay and come commands. We have a fenced-in yard, but is it okay to leave the dog outside for 6-7 hours? We've tried that, but he's really wild when we get home (jumping and chewing on me). He's not mean or aggressive, but he's a lot more calm if he's been in the crate.

How can we give him more freedom and still save our belongings?

I raised a female in my house. Then she went to live with my mother. I raised a second female in my house. Second female came into season. I put second female into
boarding kennel. My mother passed away, so I brought first female home (she is 7 years old) Time to pick up second female from kennel (she is 3 years old) They both think they are the top rung on the ladder. to get the best answers, i will start from the begining!we have a sheprt. mixed.Honey and her 2 pups they where srays!! She is very sweet, but she is a runner!!Every chance she gets, she will run from me> she will run as fast as she can w/me chasing and calling her!she will go 30-35 ft. from my home, stop, sit done and wait for me to come and get her!!!Well yesterday when we where coming out of the vet., she jurked the lease out of my hand and did this!! Running down the side of a main road! cars going 55mph!! thank god she stop and i got her!!!! Why dose Honey do this??? how can i get her to stop before it is to late????? if anyone has an idea, please help me!!!!!!!!!

My friend's angel fish layed eggs 2 times. The first time the angel fish ate them. The second time my friend took them out of the tank and put them in a different tank. They started detaching from the eggs but then they died. Why can't she keep her angel fish babies alive?
