It happened in Australia that a 13 years old girl was under attack by a sea lion. The first attack, the sea lion got the girl's head in its mouth, which broke the girl's lower jaw and lost 3 teeth. As the sea lion was going in for the second attack, the driver on the motorboat got inbetween the sea lion and the girl. The driver grabbed the girl and put her in his boat. The driver said that his greatest fear was that he wasn't going to get there in time before the sea lion's second attack.

Britain's National Union of Journalists voted to "stand in solidarity" with the Palestinians and boycott Israeli products.

Today comes word that the journalists' objects of affection may have murdered kidnapped BBC reporter Alan Johnston.

LONDON (AFP) - The BBC and the Foreign Office told AFP they were urgently investigating reports Sunday that kidnapped BBC Gaza correspondent Alan Johnston had been executed.

My question is: Should that stripper go to jail for lying about those lacross players raping her? She did perjure herself and no matter WHAT-- there are always going to be people who believe they did it--no matter what the evidence. She ruined over a year of the BEST days of these guys lives... and there will be ongoing damage--- irreparable damage to their reputations.

They can sue, but she is a stripper.. It's not like she has any money. The only recourse to hold her accountable is to bring her up on perjury charges!

the biggest conspiracy about 9/11 is the total media blackout for 6 hours here in the UK. the attacks took place around 9am but here we never heard of nothing until about 2 in the afternoon.
i think the yanks must be hiding something otherwise us English would have heard sooner

I like U2's music but a few small minded Rangers fans that I know claim that I'm a fool for listening to music by U2. They claim that U2 used to sponsor an Irish terrorist group, but going by the lyrics to 'Sunday Bloody Sunday', they are actually against the actions of this terrorist group. Is is possible that these so called Rangers fans are telling the truth or are just talking Rubbish just because Bono is supposedly a Celtic fan?

Does anyone know if U2 really are/were supporters of this Irish terrorist group?

He had been suspended, but when the sponsorship withdrew, that is what sealed his fate. No Sponsor wants to be boycotted, no company wants to be thought of as being pro-racist. No company wants their stock to fall.

Tony Snow (Whitehouse spokesman), right after Edward`s claims, and then Fred Thompson....And remember, Rudy had prostate cancer not too long ago as well....Will Rudy`s cancer resurface, at least on the political scene, as yet another blow against John Edward`s ploy to gain America`s sympathy with claims of "cancer within the family"?....then there was the recanting of Edward`s previous claims......Mrs. Edwards is not quite in the predicament the Edwards camp once told us all she was once in..... What do you think ?

The recent media frenzy over Imus' non-racial comment. Did you see 1 reporter on national news talking about this that wasn't black?

Do national network news organizations have balls so small that they think it will be a hate crime to have a white person talking about a perceived racial incident?

I'm not talking about commentators in studio, but the field reporters bringing "the latest news".

Is this going to snowball? Are people going to have to watch their mouths for fear of displeasing their big advertisers? And those big companies DO have political agendas and loyalties, big time. Where do we go from here?

even though the dope billionaire didn't have a seat belt on? i think he should have asked his accountant if it was ok to drive without a seat belt on... like in the oj case, oj should have asked his accountant before he killed his wife.. the accountants would have told them that it was a stupid thing to do IF SOMETHING HAPPENED

I've never really listened to Don Imus, but i can't help but feel that people are overreacting. I'm of the mindset that if someone bothers or angers me, I'll just ignore them. I'm so sick of tv and radio constantly shoving this story down my throat. I also feel that the black community is being a bit hypocritical with regard to words that are used in their culture every day. Hell, one of my favorite musical acts is a rap group called "Nappy Roots". This has somehow turned into a race thing (thanks to Al Sharpton and other people who get off on being offended or "opressed"), when i think the sexist aspect (calling young women ho's) is much more offensive. Regardless of what was said, I'm all for free speech, and if you don't like it...don't listen. It's that easy. What do you all think?

Well there was never any evidence, aparently.
Not even sure the victim was telling the truth.
The old prosecutor has apologized and may well be disbarred.
Sharpton and Jackson were all over this and demanded the head of the Duke students.
Will they apologize?

They say he is just an older white man that was just trying to be "hip" with his comment, but I do think his comment was a little crazy. Im african american and I know many people of my race that talk like that, so im thinking that since he hears people of our race talking like that i guess he felt like it was okay. But i also do think that people of my race shouldn't talk like that to each other because the minute a white person repeats what is said most blacks are ready to fight back when their the ones saying it too. What do you think?

Will we see Sharpton take a similar stance against racially and sexist charged movie themes, one-liners in comedy, and lyrics in rap music now that he has taken such a strong position against a radio personality? If he does, then he will have my support and respect. Will he call for the boycott of Spike Lee films? HBO? Showtime? Death Row Records? Def Jam Recordings? Jive Records? I mean, come on!! "Pimp the Ho?!?!?!" I don't see anyone marching in front of Too Short's mansion. If so, then Sharpton will have my respect and I will applaud him and support him. Will he dare carry out an all-out attack against these media mecas as well? Or would that make him lose favor with his constituency? I am betting that this is all for a while for Sharpton until another white man steps out of line and treads where only "pimps" are allowed to go.

Issiah Washington an actor on the popular TV series; Grey's Anatomy, made offensive remakes regarding co-worked TR Knight calling him a -"f*gg*t"- he was beratted by the Gay Community,ABC-TV & the media. Issiah initially denied using the offensive term & then used it again on a TV Awards Show. He finally admitted using the word, met with Knight, the Gay Community, etc &apologize and then agree to go to REHAB at aprivate treatment center when he was facing termination from the TV show. He went, was cured of "whatever" and went back to work. Imus admitted is error, went to Rev Sharption and the Rugters team to apologize and agreed to a2 week suspension with out the deial and drama done by Issiah. And then Imus was fired by MSNBC, NBC & CBS. Imus agreed to do the right thing while Washington fhe entire process. Imus is gone while Issiah is here. Fair & balanced? What do you think? Thanks.

I Wish

Looking back on when i
Was a little nappy headed boy
Then my only worry
Was for christmas what would be my toy
Even though we sometimes
Would not get a thing
We were happy with the
Joy the day would bring

Sneaking out the back door
To hang out with those hoodlum friends of mine
Greeted at the back door
With boy thought I told you not to go outside,
Tryin’ your best to bring the
Water to your eyes
Thinkin’ it might stop her
From woopin’ your behind

I wish those days could come back once more
Why did those days ev-er have to go
I wish those days could come back once more
Why did those days ev-er have to go
Cause I love them so

Brother says he’s tellin’
’bout you playin’ doctor with that girl
Just don’t tell I’ll give you
Anything you want in this whole wide world
Mama gives you money for sunday school
You trade yours for candy after church is through

Smokin’ cigarettes and writing something nasty on the wall (you nasty boy)
Teacher sends you to the principal’s office down the wall
You grow up and learn that kinda thing ain’t right
But while you were doin’it-it sure felt outta sight

I wish those days could come back once more
Why did those days ev-er have to go
I wish those days could come back once more
Why did those days ev-er have to go
