why did you folks re-elect that mayor that failed to evacuate you from Hurricane Katrina ? I read that he turned down 100's of buses made available, because he wanted "greyhounds" instead of school buses....he messed up as much as Bush and FEMA, yet you wanted him back in office ...

Good grief. Where were you people when my civil rights was being taken away? Did you think that they were only going to ban smoking? Get a life! Once people have allowed certain groups to ban one thing, then other items will become eligible to be banned. This runs the gauntlet on everything out there. It could be food, vehicles, clothing, books, sports, or whatever some groups might think is a threat to our 'health'. You did nothing to fight for my rights, so why do you think people should fight for your rights!

I really want to move somewhere else. I want my dad to get a job as a professor at a pretty good university so we can move to the suburbs of a university. he could teach economics because he has a phd in it...how can i look for job openings for professors who want to teach economics? how much do professors get paid?

I just read an article written by Jill Carroll, and the picture she paints a different picture of her captors than I've seen on the news. We have been led along, being shown they are basic murderers and animals. But her writing doesn't really reflect that.

These people have nothing to lose or gain no matter who the president is. Why is it that we take so much stock in what it is that they think about the different runners? Does anyone else think it is sad that we allow these people (people who have little or no education in the political aspect) to dictate what our thoughts are, based on the roles they pretend to be.

Egypt, sued people all the time and plotted crimes, withheld stuff from the poor. AMERICAN JUSTICE SYSTEM
Rome, drunken orgies, mafia style politics REPUBLICANS
Greece, homosexuals, survivor type politics DEMOCRATS

I am quite worried about the people here in the USA.

the media said his handwriting didn't match the year book and they said it was not possible to kill someone and hop one a plane and go to denver to geogia in two hours cause she died around 10:00 and the plane took off to georia around 12;25 do you think he is doing this for attendation or what why would you say you did something when you didn't.
