I really want to move somewhere else. I want my dad to get a job as a professor at a pretty good university so we can move to the suburbs of a university. he could teach economics because he has a phd in it...how can i look for job openings for professors who want to teach economics? how much do professors get paid?

Most professor start as adjuncts and work awful hours for small pay. If he were a science or math major it would be better. He'll probably need to start at a state or city college and then work his way up to a private university.

I think your Dad's job selection is up to him...and about moving, that's up to him also. Your Dad needs to contact the universities in the areas you are interested in moving to, and professors get paid based on how economically affluent the area is. A professor averages at around $80 K. Good luck!
