There are all sorts of types of terrorism, and I love how everyone assumes and equates terrorism to Muslim people now. It rather scary in fact... These answers people are giving are ridiculous.
Has anyone thought about all of the terrorism that goes on within the USA caused by Americans themselves??
Americans have a bad rap in the world because they try to dominate everyone by hoarding and bullying... I am sick of hearing people say that its "Freedom" that terrorist want to abolish. It's not that AT ALL. What a George Bush Brain washing campaign that is! What other countries want is Freedom from the US!
Canada is a great country. We respect the world we live in, but that does not mean we are excluded from acts of terrorism. It can and does happen everywhere, perhaps not on the scale of the Twin Towers, but it is alive and well in so many countries, look at Lebanon! And the Americans are backing up Israel killing those innocent people!

i think a really great reason NOT to do anything terroristic to canada would be because they most likely have family or relatives there...also because theyre using canadas slack immigration laws to harbour terrorists, and have them closer to america. which they will never stop attacking. i think this is a terrible idea for war. but they wont bother canada.

because canada and other countries don't bother them or try to tell them how to run their countries. think about it terrorists travel past sweden. they have a pure democracy, they put everything to a vote of the people. the terrorist should hate them too. they have freedom, and thats what the terrorist hate right?
Ask any republican and he will tell you we don't live in a democracy but a republic. other republics: present day- people's republic of china, past- Ussr, united soviet socialist republic.
isn't it funny that these countries are considered the bads guys.
