People say that Reagan brought him and his types to prominence in the Afghan-Soviet war, but that Osama would never cooperate with a secularist like Saddam.

Yes, Osama became popluar when he fought off the Russians in Afghanistan during the 1980's, backed by the U.S. He didn't like Sadaam. In 1991 just before Bush 41 invaded Iraq, Osama offered Saudi Arabia his help to fight Sadaam and was miffed when they said no. Remember, Osama was the leader of the guerilla's that helped defeat the Russians. Osama has hated the U.S. ever since the Saudi's refused his help. And that is why he hates us to this day.

I HAVEN'T FOUND ANY LINK OF FRIENDSHIP BETWEEN OSAMA OR SADDAM, BUT THEY BOTH DISRESPECT US THAT'S FOR SURE. I THINK THAT IT COULD BE VERY POSSIBLE THAT THEY COULD'VE WORKED TOGETHER ON SOMETHING, THEY BOTH HAD OR HAVE ALOT OF MONEY AND POWER.
REAGAN HELPED OSAMA, AND HIS TYPES BY PROVIDING MONEY AND WEAPONS AND TRAINING.
