It has been going on for many many years. Every news story about China is invariably focusing almost entirely on the negatives or if any positives are mentioned, it has always ended with a negative insinuation by the supposedly "independent and free" media in the U.S.
Most recently, in May it was the trade dispute over the U.S. trade deficit and the U.S. wanting China to revalue its currency. Then, shortly after the U.S. failed to win anything from the bilateral trade talks in May, the U.S. media all of a sudden unianimously started reporting on "defective Chinese products" and seemed to generalized all products made in China. Yet, when 15 million of cans of U.S. made meat from a Georgia plant were recalled due to botulism contamination, it was not labeled by the media as "U.S. meat" in the headlines, like they always mention the origin of Chinese products. Nor, was the danger of botulism described as a bacteria used in biological warfare, (contd. below)
