What is this all about? This happened over 4 months ago, and now this woman says it has permanently tarnished her reputation? Come on -- isn't this just another frivilous lawsuit by someone trying to get money because she can't make it through life on her own? Wouldn't the only way that anyone would know that she was a part of the team Imus was joking about (in poor taste) is if she said openly that "I'm one of those players from Rutgers that Don Imus called a bad name and got fired for." Since he never named her or anyone else by name, how would anyone know she was a part of the team, unless she broadcast it to them?

Oh, and before anyone tries to call me a racist, this has nothing to do with race. This could be anyone trying to file a lawsuit about a similar situation.

I think it's a load of crap that the right Rev. Al has gotten blown so out of proportion that it's become laughable. Imus was talking about the whole team, not one individual player, so this woman has simply found herself a shyster willing to sue for anything. It's almost but not quite as stupid as the "Pants" lawsuit, where that judge sued for $56 million over a pair of "lost" pants.

Funny how the suit happens shortly after Imus gets a judgement of $120mil from CBS (the day after, it appears).

The plaintiff couldn't get a dime outta me 'cause I don't have that much cash. The irony is that Imus' flippant statements of April 4 seem to be true.

till she will tutor how this particularly has affected her negatively and tutor that folk certainly believed Imus that she replaced into surely a nappy headed ho she would not have a case. The unusual element to me is that she is the only one suing? His huge payday shouldn't impression their vanity in any respect. Him being offered the $20 million is in basic terms contractual. He had a settlement and it replaced into no longer commemorated while they fired him. They knew what form of a radio character he replaced into while they signed the settlement. EDIT: ShadowCat please clarify and tutor to me that what Imus stated is "ruining their futures in employment and reputations"? So if one in each and every of them fails to get a job they blame Imus' comments. How did this destroy their recognition - do you relatively have self assurance that anybody believes that they are what Imus called them (actually?) what proportion of their friends and acquaintances or any destiny employers do you relatively think of have self assurance what a ask your self jock like Imus says approximately everyone?

Anything for a buck. Looks like an ambulance chaser corrupted one of the players.

It's about foolishness when rappers and comedians say far worst.

Kanye West wrote a song about the likes of her...I believe he called it 'Gold-digger'.
