Have you noticed how Madeleine McCann has been on the front page every day for the last few weeks? I think the Express may actually have got over Diana and found someone new!

N.B. I am not an Express reader, but I work in a newsagents so noticed it while selling it to the awful people who do read it.

The Express and The Mail, what a pile of crap. It rots people's brains the amount of scaremongering and subtle sensationalism that goes on. Look at all the stuff surrounding the MMR jab - now kids will have risked their lives (and others) because their parents were sucked into all that.

I think people read them and think it's true simply because it's not the Sun, and because they are long-running, 'respectable' papers.

And Maddie HAS been used in every way to sell papers, which makes the whole situation even more f-ed up and suspicious.

Oh look! A troll. Albeit an amusing one. Dr John, you're thinking more along the lines of The Star/Sun/Sport/Mirror, etc etc.

Yes I have noticed that too. And they are calling the reports in the Portuguese press a vicious smear campaign, when if you read them they are just actually reporting alot more of what the police over there believe. Which we are not being told any of. I have started to read their reports every day and they are much more enlightening.

Noticed. The Express usually high profile something when they
know something is going to break. So don't be surprised if good
or bad news is broken soon.

"Awful people?" What a narrow-minded generalistion. It's those Mail readers you want to watch out for! ;-)

Joking aside, though - all the tabloids are full of crap, in my opinion.

Well, it's not a surprise, is it? None of the so-called "tabloids" has a reputation for stirling journalism, do they?

I read the Express, but I don't know why. They have three main headlines, which are:

(1) MADELEINE.
(2) KILLER STORMS COMING, WE'RE ALL GOING TO DIE.
(3) DIANA WAS MURDERED.

I don't read them either, the only time they haven't mentioned Madeleine was the lottery winner.
