Yes I am referring to the woman who won it!! Lucky or not though that remains to be seen. However, if I won that amount of money the last thing on my mind would be whether it would change me or not!!

If I won that amount I'd leave my job and go on a round the world trip for a year or so. I'm engaged and saving for a wedding at the mo so obviously I'd splash out on a really lavish ceremony! I buy houses for my family and my fiancé’s family. Then I'd buy a massive mansion which I'd have built to my specification then I'd open a sanctuary for unwanted and mistreated animals!

My friend had a great idea.... (provided the win was kept private of course) she would plan a party and invite all her friends and family. Those who made the effort to come would each get a £100,000 cheque. Those who couldn't be bothered/didn't make the effort would obviously get nothing!

I wouldn't spend any of it for a bit and let the interest accumulate :) and then I would gather all my family and best friends round the table and ask them each to write a 'wish list' and then I would help them out with achieving some of their wishes, providing they weren't too wacky LOL.

I would then get some really good financial advice and set up a charitable trust, so that all the good causes I have tried to support over the years would benefit from some of the cash.

I don't think I would give up my job (because I love the guy's I work with) but I would definitely go part-time, so I had more time to spend with my family and enjoy my hobbies.

My biggest purchase, would be a new house (a bit bigger than the one I have, one with a conservatory would be lovely and a kitchen big enough to put a table in, that we could all sit round) and it would have to be by the sea or a river, just love the idea of waking up and looking out the window to see just water, very relaxing). Although I appreciate the people of Tewkesbury probably didn't thing that a few weeks ago!

Oh and last but not least, I would buy myself the new Fiat 500 when it comes out next year xx

I'd buy a house, and some houses for other people whom I know really need somewhere to live. I think I would probably just fulfil my dream of living in Hollywood and buy a place there. Set up an old movie theatre in a Xanadu fashion, with a roller disco and movie screen and art gallery. I'd also buy the little cinema where we live now - they're gonna bulldoze it and turn it into nasty flats - and restore it to create a party cinema. I'd also try to fund a halfway house or refuge of some kind and give money to AIDS research and Childline, and my daughter's school.

After that, I'd go on a world tour and hopefully become a mysterious benefactress as well as pursue my creative career.

I would get my family and close friends out of debt.
I would hire a tailor who will tailorfit all my clothes (I am 6'2" so its hard for me to shop)
I would also hire a personal trainer
I would get a breast reduction
I would built a nice house with a basketball and tennis court.
I would get another house in the States and in Croatia, my favorite vacation spot.
I would by a couple cars; a family car, something fast, and something cute for the weekend
I would by a motorcycle (Yamaha R1)
I would probably give some to charity too

I don't even think about it.
If that lucky lady thinks her life won't change then she had better think again. All sorts will be coming out of the wood work.
Her son wants to stay in the same school.! What a great kidnap victim he will make. She must be mad to think he will be safe. So no. Money brings lots of different problems.

Give over half of it away probably to charity and maybe close friends. That sort of money is a security risk...anyone remember the story of the women who won €125 mill? Besides, what the heck do you need all 35 mill for? 10mill would be more than enough...

it's more a question of what wouldn't i do!
this refuge you would start, for unwanted animals,
can i come along?
i'm an unwanted & abused animal.
white, english & a woman, to boot.
abused, over-looked & at the bottom of the pile, by my own government!
