Follow the facts, keep it short and to the point. Do not print names unless you have "proof of the pudding"

I remember at school a system that uses a pyramid of what is most important, which goes at the top. The top pyramid has the least sentences. This gets into more depth at the bottom halve, letting people know the whole story of the other different paragraphs of legitimacy of what is further explained.
I don't know if this comes to play in every newspaper, but it sorts it self out. Meaning the title plays the role of bringing out the pyramids starting line which is the title and onward what happened, and why it happend, ect(whichever needs to go first by title meaning). Making use of the least important which may be future possibilities (because it has not occured).
That's all I know about Newspaper journalism.

I'm not sure what you mean by "presentation."
Are you sending this in as a school assignment? If so, your teacher should have given you some sort of idea.
Otherwise, there is no real rule. Just use a legible font, maybe 10pt or 12pt if you're printing it out. And, if you wish, you can be old school and put ### or -30- at the end to signify where the story stops.

You should report the news objectively, and give as many facts as possible. A good news article is one that informs the reader about every detail that is on a "need to know basis" and adds a few of the extras for a quality read. Make the headline much like you would see a headline in a News Paper, and aim to grab attention. Whether it be a news article or a product review article or an article about your friends cat, make sure its objective! Especially if you plan on distributing it across the internet. There are several good services and web sites that will distribute your articles to high PR sites on the internet and get you lots of exposure. I would advise against most software applications as they aren't as reliable for getting your articles to as wide an audience as you like. The most respected and reliable service (run by humans) is called "Article Marketer". Its a great way to distribute it across a wide audience. Some alternative methods that especially good for releasing "News Articles" are to write up a series of "Press releases" found at several web sites across the net. Just Google "Free Press Releases" and submit your article through any or all of those sites for great exposure. You can find several pre written articles at http://www.75articles.com and there is a great blog there as well on how to write articles. You can find it at http://www.75articles.com/WordPress. Hope this is helpful to you!
