Ask someone to thik of any 3 figured number (such as 497)
Ask them to take a calculator and multiply this number by 7 then multiply the answer by 11, then multiply the answer by 13.

Whilst they are doing that you can tell them the answer is 497497.

The answer is always whatever number they sarted with followed by the same three numbers.

Have fun!

Given the news today that more people attend catholic churches in the UK that those who attend protestant churches. Is there now an arguement for making the catholic church the established UK Church?

With the news that one of the UK's largest independent butchers is closing:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/london/7157462.stm

and the report last month which directly links eating sausages, bacon and ham with cancer of the colon (in much the same way that smoking was linked to lung cancer back in the 1950s), is it now the case that people are moving away from eating meat to a more healthy diet of fruit, vegetables and fish?

We read that the two worlds infamous serial child neglectors, scammers and MAIN SUSPECTS are demanding their 'Human Rights' that they no longer be considered the MAIN SUSPECTS in the disapearance of their daughter, and are prepared to take their case to the European Court. This should be interesting, I'm no legal expert, but I understand first you need to exhast the legal process in the nation you have a grievance before being allowed anywhere near a European Court. I'm sure we would all like to see the McCanns plead their case in both Portugal and Europe and explain why they neglected their children resulting in the loss of one.

Is this just another sad piece of pathetic McPR ? Bring back Justine McGuiness ?

We read with disgust that 'The private detective who vowed to bring Madeleine McCann home by Christmas has been working on a different case.Francisco Marco, head of Spanish agency Metodo 3, told earlier this month how he was sure the four-year-old was alive - and said he was close to returning her to distraught parents Kate and Gerry. But its now revealed he took himself off the investigation last week and travelled abroad on a separate case. A source at his Barcelona HQ said: "He has been out of the country on business not to do with Madeleine, on another case altogether."

Were the McCanns scammed big time by this bunch of vigilante 'detectives' ?

We read that after paying out Matedo 3, the worlds most infamous Child Neglectors, Scammers and MAIN SUSPECTS are down to their last £650,000 of other peoples money. The McScams are now considering that exclusive book deal for the more gullible US public knowing that their McPR in the UK has all but collapsed.

Would you consider buying a book written by Kate and Gerry ?

what could you do to entertain yourself, I giving the limited skills most of us have, fair enough if you were a sailor, at least you could visit some other countries, tho there wouldn't be a woman waiting in the port for ya.

Would the like to be the only living person left on earth?

Supposing another species came after us, and you were the last link to the old world, you'd go down in folklore. but would you crave that celebrity?

now under suspicion herself for her glaring inconsistencies in her account.

"A model who claimed she was raped at the Manchester United Christmas party may be charged herself, it was claimed last night.

Police sources say there are glaring inconsistencies between the written, audio and video statements by the 26-year-old woman. "

IF this woman lied, she should receive actual jail time for this.

a) She is completely undermining genuine rape victim cases

b) She had the potential to destroy a mans life and reputation.

c) Wasting police time that could have been spent investigating REAL crimes.

Should she not receieve an appropriate sentence for this? And Im talking about actually sitting in a jail, not some suspended sentence rubbish.

BETHLEHEM, West Bank (AFP) - Israeli guards beat five demonstrators, including one dressed as Father Christmas, during a protest on Friday against Israel's separation barrier in the West Bank, organisers said.

About 50 Palestinian, Israeli and international peace activists attended the rally in the village of Um Salomona, near Bethlehem, the Biblical birthplace of Jesus that is preparing to celebrate Christmas.

Israeli border guards armed with truncheons briefly detained one activist and beat another five during the rally, the organisers told AFP, adding that one was wearing a Santa Claus costume.

An Israeli army spokesman said there had been disorder at the protest and that several demonstrators who were briefly detained were subsequently released.

Israel says the massive barrier of electric fencing, barbed wire and concrete walls built across the West Bank is needed to stop potential attackers from infiltrating the country and attacking Jewish settlements on Arab land.

The Palestinians say the project is aimed at grabbing their land and undermining the viability of their promised state.

In 2004, the International Court of Justice issued a non-binding ruling that parts of the 650-kilometre (410-mile) barrier criss-crossing the West Bank are illegal and should be torn down. Israel has vowed to complete the project.

not to be vulgar....it's just a theoretical question

do you think a real assignation attempt will be put upon him by a fringe hate group or twisted individual? i not talking about you're typical empty threat which every president and leader gets no matter what their politics are from the looney bin. sadly, there's a John Wilkes Booth, Nathuram Godse, Charlie Guiteau, Gavrilo Princip, Yigal Amir, and Lee Harvey in every generation so-to-speak.

i mean, you look at these rallies in Iowa and interactions at N.H. and it seems as if any one of these people if they were so inclined and demented could seriously get away with such an nefarious action. i know there's security, screening, and the Secret Service involved, but there's no such thing as a sure-bet in terms of safety.
