do you think a real assignation attempt will be put upon him by a fringe hate group or twisted individual? i not talking about you're typical empty threat which every president and leader gets no matter what their politics are from the looney bin. sadly, there's a John Wilkes Booth, Nathuram Godse, Charlie Guiteau, Gavrilo Princip, Yigal Amir, and Lee Harvey in every generation so-to-speak.
i mean, you look at these rallies in Iowa and interactions at N.H. and it seems as if any one of these people if they were so inclined and demented could seriously get away with such an nefarious action. i know there's security, screening, and the Secret Service involved, but there's no such thing as a sure-bet in terms of safety.

Because he is part African-American and there's hate groups and sad, deranged people in the world who would attack you or disenfranchise you for such an immutable, trivial fact as skin hue. I some people forget there's a lot of whackos in the USA. That doesn't mean everyone is, but there's, sadly, a lot of them in the woodwork hiding from sight.

I believe that someone will try to assassinate Obama if he wins and ,sadly, I think it will be because of his color or because of his familial ties to Islam.:( I like Obama. I think that he has potential to be a great president. And the best presidents are the ones who get killed.

I'm sure it would probably happen. This country is not ready for a black president, regardless of party affiliation. But, we shouldn't have that to worry about. I don't believe Billary nor Barack Hussein Obama are electable. Not a big Giuliani fan, either, and Huckabee is a joke. I only hope somehow Romney and Thompson are able to come through.

It will never get to that as he won't be elected. There are a lot of closet racists who will not vote for him or any African-American every though they claim to support him. However, it would not surprise me if there was to be an assassination attempt. It would not matter who did it as it would be construed as race related even if it were his own mother.
