Ask someone to thik of any 3 figured number (such as 497)
Ask them to take a calculator and multiply this number by 7 then multiply the answer by 11, then multiply the answer by 13.

Whilst they are doing that you can tell them the answer is 497497.

The answer is always whatever number they sarted with followed by the same three numbers.

Have fun!

Ok, here's one for you.

You ask someone to think of a playing card (preferably a number card rather than king, queen etc)

You tell them to add to it whatever the next number in the sequence would be (e.g. if it's a 3, add 4)

Multiply this by 5, then

if it's a spade, add 4
if it's a diamond, add 3
if it's a heart, add 2
if it's a club, add 1

Then they tell you the total, and you can tell them their card:

It will be a 2 digit number - the first digit is the number of the card, the second digit, you subtract 5 and what is left tells you the suit, using the key above.

e.g a total of 39 would be the 3 of spades

Enjoy!

Thanks again! I've got one for you - ask the person to think of a number between 1 and 10 (make them keep it secret!). Tell them to double it, and then tell them to add a number (you choose the number). Then tell them to halve their answer, and take away the number they started with. The answer they will get is always half of the number you tell them to add after they doubled their original number. Tell them their final answer, and ask if you are right! Happy Christmas! xxxx
