I don't understand all the controversy over the cause of death. Does it really matter if she died by bullet or if she hit her head on the sunroof as a result of the explosion? She is tragically dead either way.

The alleged ringleader of US troops who killed 24 unarmed Iraqi civilians in 2005 in Haditha will not face murder charges, a US Marines spokesman said.
Sgt Frank Wuterich, 27, will stand trial for voluntary manslaughter, aggravated assault, dereliction of duty and other charges, officials said.
The decision was made by Lt Gen Samuel Helland, who is overseeing the case.
Sgt Wuterich is the last of four marines to have the murder charge against him dropped.

A woman suffered serious arm injuries when she was attacked by a dog, believed to be a rottweiler which had broken into her garden.
The 26-year-old was taken to hospital after being attacked in Fisher Street, Brierley Hill, in the West Midlands.
Police said two dogs taken from the scene were later destroyed.

The two new "witnesses" claim that they became suspicious of Murat when he said he had to go home and change his clothes as he had been wearing them all day, (blue t.shirt and jeans) but they claim to have seen him in a striped shirt and trousers earlier.
Look at these photos of Robert Murat and David Payne on May 4th. Murat is wearing a blue t.shirt & jeans and Payne is wearing a striped shirt & trousers. There is also a STRIKING resemblence between the two. Clearly a case of mistaken identity. David Payne and his wife also stayed on in Portugal after the rest of the Tapas group left. Am I alone in thinking that Dr. Payne knows a LOT more than he has told. Incidently Gerry is a witness for the defence in a case of malpractice against David Payne

'Congress is set to approve a plan to integrate the U.S. and Israeli missile defense systems. The proposal, authored by U.S. Rep. Mark Kirk (R-Ill.), is part of the Defense Authorization Act passed late Wednesday by the U.S. House of Representatives and due to be considered by the Senate before Christmas break.

Under the proposal, the secretary of defense must within six months present a plan to Congress a plan "to improve the coordination, interoperability, and integration of the U.S. National Ballistic Missile Defense System with Israel's missile defense architecture," a statement from Kirk's office said.'

It is just making official what is already the case - the US and Israeli military and governments are basically the same.

Sex education lessons should be given to children as young as five in an attempt to combat rising levels of teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, a senior public health doctor has said.

Dr Charles Saunders warned that schools were leaving the "safe sex message" so late that many youngsters were being exposed to unnecessary risks.

He said that by the time they were 12, many children were "already experimenting".

Dr Saunders, the chairman of the British Medical Association's consultants' committee in Scotland, also suggested that secondary schools should hand out contraception to older children.

Is it for protection?

Because I can point to a thousand stories where the dog has turned on the owner or its children and killed or maimed them.

I cant point to a single story where a dog has intercepted a knife weilding burglar and saved the day.

Nuff said ........

That stupid mother should be charged and that whole family should hang its head in shame at the way they allowed that poor 1 year old Archie to die because of their stupidity.

This was no tragic accident. This was easily avoidable, but the whole family was too dumb to see the right thing to do.
