By choice, I am sober now & will be sober later, when the clock strikes 12 midnight. If I enter the new year in a blurr.... my entire year will be reflected in that very manner, if I enter the new year clear headed, perhaps the future year's path will reflect the same, so I may choose good choices when they approach.
