what do you think of this? are the human rights monitors etc.right to complain about conditions? or do the suspected terrorists deserve to be treated in such a way untill the soldiers are satisfied with a result?(whatever it may be)

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/rtrs/20071115/tts-uk-guantanamo-manual-ca02f96_1.html

It contains instructions as only the military can write them, such as how to use pepper spray on unruly prisoners. "Aim at the eyes, nose and mouth when possible. Use a 1/2 to 1 second burst from a distance of 36 to 72 inches away."

"If the cup is damaged or destroyed, the detainee will be disciplined for destruction of government property," the rules say.

some prisoners were designated as off limits to visitors from the International Committee of the Red Cross, something the military has repeatedly denied.

-Bush, the Guantanamo spokesman, said there have been three changes in command since 2003 and the rules "have evolved significantly."-do you believe Bush? (cos i dont!!)

Read the latest news about airport security? http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20071115/ap_on_go_ca_st_pe/airport_security

I am sorry, but you have to admit that a potential terrorist will most likely be a person of middle eastern descent. You can call it discrimination or prejudice or whatever, but fact is fact. Why not have a special screening for these people at the airport and other security checkpoints? This will also be for their protection and not just ours. Is there a better solution or do we all have to live with this for the rest of our human existing lives? Because I am sure as hell we will never stamp out Al Qaida or terrorism, ever. I am not questioning their faith or belief. It is just a problem we need to address and it is a huge one. Never in my life have I thought of living in fear in our own land, until the 9/11 incident.

Living above your means isnt for you.And sad but true its cheaper to be poor than middle class. When your middle class you work the rat race harder to pay harder for everything, and when your blue color poor as they say, you pay alot less plus get gov benefits. I never went to college cause I seen this coming. Why work harder to pay harder for everything.
I figured be it I cannot be rich, may as well choose the poor life , at least we are not getting shafted like the middle class.
Like I can make 8 a hour and get assisted housing or make 16 hour and my whole paycheck goes to rent. Sad but true my above genius level Iq finds that illogical and insane, and yes my Iq has been tested, and I'm in the genius realm.Be it I cannot be rich I shall be poor, Once you accept it , its easy and logical.

It is no excuse but i was going through a hard time.

I would especially like to apologise to Kamran for calling him a terrorist. I admit I have no understanding of the muslim religion and my rants are based on ignorance and fear.

WEST HAVEN, Utah - McDonald's? The burger joint? Stampede! Eight cows escaped from a trailer when the rear gate opened as the driver pulled into a McDonald's. It took about two hours to round them up Monday.

"Maybe they were going to ... hop in the freezer, save the middleman," Weber County sheriff's Sgt. Dave Creager said.

Lt. Kevin Burns had another theory: "They didn't like their future."

The roundup was called "Operation Hamburger Helper." A nearby resident even hopped on his horse.

"I thought my eyes were lying," said Wayne Sanders, who was at a truck stop next door. "I don't know where they came from, but I'd say they'd have to weigh 800 pounds apiece and they were on a pretty good trot."

Muslims are mostly good people, like everyone else. They are being scapegoated for our disappointments with Labour. It's frightening how we lap up politians and religious leaders, Media Billionaires money spinning words.

How do you get such a bad opinion? Is it just the Media? If you feel justly angry then what did you actually do about it? Did you fight racial intolerance with racial intolerance. Did it get you anywhere?

Personally, my concerns in this country are the rubbish laws and over population and unfair taxes. We are a SMALL Green Island! We are being screwed by the rich politians/media/oil/weapon/phamacetical billionaires and are too busy scrapping with each other while they are getting away with it. Smoke and mirrors. I have written to my local government and taken these issues and others as far as I can. Pointless? Only if I'm the only one...I just wish more people would get involved in local politics.

Please discuss (both sides)
