Well thats justice for you, UK style! I'm afraid I don't think his career will be over. Given a few month, the BBC will be welcoming him with open arms. That woman further up most likly works for them!

It is an utter disgrace and scandal that this creature is now out of prison. The police and the computer specialists work hard to secure convictions for this type of crime, and for what? It seems to be treated like a minor misdemeanour. He should have rotted in prison for many years for this. To say it is a "victimless crime" is asinine - truly unbelievable. The victims are every little child whose photos of abuse he downloaded.

What a dirty foul creature. We can only hope and trust he never works again, and any friends he has who have any moral stature turn their backs on him. As for downloading paedophilia for research purposes, he must think everyone is as stupid as he is depraved. If you were genuinely researching the subject you would read a scientific publication written by a scientist which knowledge of the subject. That's research - not looking at filthy pictures.

What really upsets me about this case is how lightly it is taken by the - so called - British justice system. What hope do our children really have?

Well at least his ugly mug is well known so lets hope some kind gentlemen notice him one dark night and follow him down an alley. Lets hope too they they have a camera and decide to sexually abuse him and film it, then they can post it on to the internet for people to watch as part of their 'research'.
Then we can ask him if he enjoyed that, and if not what kind of punishment would he think fitting for it?

It is sickening! he would have served more time if he had stolen something! The Justice system is a joke and I agree with Angel... Most of the Judges are probably corrupt anyway, they must be when you here everyday of ridiculous sentences for vile crimes....

I never bought his story about research etc, you would have to be sick to do what he did, it's perverse, just like the vile people who condone it...

Yeah I'm sure he's learnt his lesson now, poor old Chris...typical in this country. Paedophiles before normal decent working people, sounds about right. I'm awaiting emigration with even more joy now, this country has seriously gone to the scum, and calling Chris Langham scum is an insult to scum. A nice short cheap bit of rope for that kiddy fiddling t**t, I feel sorry for his victims (and the children on his harddrive are victims).

Outrageous, they wait until they think the public have forgotten about this vile man, he more or less went into prison through the front door and straight out of the back - now he's free to download more filth in the name of 'research' the b4stard little man.

What price his career now eh. Lets hope the media have more sense than to try to "relaunch " his career. He can go and form an old boys club with Barrymore and Gary Glitter.

It's not a victimless crime when you consider what the children in the pictures go through, they're normally vicitms of sexual abuse
