I got stuck on eurostar for 2 hours in northern france with a strike. The refreshment car ran out of supplies. Not too bad except instead of getting to waterloo at 3 we got there at 5 in the rush hour and had to struggle with cases on a packed underground train

I can't knock the French people, they know how to get what they want, just a shame for the passengers though.
