In all my years of following true crime stories, I have never heard of such a strange case.

Have you?

Cops break door, nab alleged pizza thief
EASTPOINTE, Mich. - Police used a battering ram to break down an apartment door and arrest a woman they say grabbed food from a pizza delivery man but failed to pay him.

Jessica Gray, 19, of Eastpointe was arrested Wednesday after she and the occupants of her apartment refused to pay for a delivery of pizza, ribs, chicken, shrimp and a soda valued at $17.18, police say.

According to police, Gray answered the door when a 21-year-old, combo meal-carrying delivery man arrived at her apartment about 7 p.m.

Gray took the meal, then slammed the door and joined four other female occupants inside — ranging in age from 14 to 21 — in yelling insults and threats when he didn't leave, police say.

It's somewhat ironic that when the boot is on the other foot a teacher should be spared the belt for not doing her research or homework into her new adopted country.

It´s a school competition and every class has to design it´s own mascot . The theme is the "responsible use of water and saving water."

Most of the ideas so far have been a tap and a "drop" of water with a smiling face.

I´d love to give my kids some more suggestions and help my class win.

Any ideas?

It could be any kind of symbol that represents saving water.

Thanks.

(I know it´s not current events but there are some very imaginative people on here!!)

The Sudanese didnt' come to the UK and demand someone here to be lashed or executed.
You should know by now Muslims are the sensitive type so don't provoke them in their country.

Or is the UK no longer free to express opinions on this sort of thing.
Why do,nt the Muslim Council of GB express to the Sudan Government their revulsion and disgust at this travesty in the name of Islam.PAX.

BOLINGBROOK, Ill. (AP) -
"Eighteen times in two years, Bolingbrook police were called to fellow officer Drew Peterson's home because of trouble between husband and wife. But Peterson's wife could never get authorities to arrest him. In fact, she was the only one ever charged. "

"Now residents of this Chicago suburb are wondering whether police were protecting one of their own - and whether they bear some responsibility for what happened next. "

Should this guy be hailed as a hero? Or a psychopath?

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2007/11/30/wuspolls330.xml

A Texas man has become a hero after he took it upon himself to shoot and kill two burglars who had broken into his neighbour's house.

Joe Horn called the police to report the burglary and then stepped outside and shot the burglars dead as they left the neighbour's house.

A recording of the call suggests Mr Horn, 61, was itching to kill the two burglars.

"Don't go outside the house," the 911 operator pleaded.

"You're going to get yourself shot if you go outside that house with a gun. I don't care what you think."

"You want to make a bet?" Horn answered.

"I'm going to kill them."

The teacher has been sentenced to 15 days.

Now, some stupid nutters are calling for her to be executed.

I have since read quite a few people on Yahoo saying we should bomb Sudan and even 'nuke em' (their terminology, not mine) thus killing hundreds, if not thousnads of innocent children, elderly, people who disgaree with their government and people who simply don;t know about the case.

Please enlighten me as to why these people who want the country bombed aren;t as crazy and as evil as the idiots marching in Sudan calling for her execution?

Does the fact that some of the Brits who are calling for this make us all evil as we come from the same country as them, or should we be distinguished from these idiots too.

How absolutely disgusting to see these 'men' having just come out of their prayer meetings, marching, driving and ranting in the most profoundly evil, vile and abhorent way for the school teacher to be shot! What sort of prayer meetings were they then? Isn't it time that all foreign workers left that hell-hole and we all stopped sending aid to a place which supports a middle-ages repressive culture which should not exist in the 21st century. I will never give so much as a penny again to any organisation which helps people of that mind-set!
