I checked my database, the only country you might have a problem with is Queer Nation, they have embassies in New York, San Fransisco and Key West, so if you don't live there, go for it!

Note: if you travel to those places please place the teddy in foster care or use a covername (not "butch"!) while travelling.

If Mohamed had a teddy called fluffy, then boy are you in trouble,a name is just a name. For Islam to say the name mohamed is offensive is a contradiction in terms.FOR them to say calling a teddy (WHICH WILL BE LOVED ALL ITS LIFE) Mohamed ,is offensive ,lowers them in the eyes of the world. To rise up over the innocent use of a very noble title for something you love and is a symbol of childrens love all over the world,is a crime of inhumane stupidity and ignorance,it makes them without honour.

"Fluffy" might be a good nickname for the bear. If I were you though, I'd insist on a good Euro-American name like Ursula, which means bear. Be sure to tell your little one that she can only call her bear Fluffy at home and with no company around who might report her to the thought police, otherwise, it's straight to Room 101 for the both of you.
