You are very correct in your assessment of the ignorant manipulated masses, power by fear.Religious zealots care not for rights or humanities, they are brainwashed into having tunnel vision, they are not allowed to think for themselves individually. These are the ones the controlling religious leaders use as cannon fodder, their lives mean nothing they are expendable. They misname it as religion, when it is in fact intellectual repression.I think Angel ,the first answerer,is very nearly right, all that religion seems to breed, is the same as christianity does when the teachings are very badly misused and twisted by evil leaders to control the ignorant masses.I have no respect for those who cannot think for themselves and are led like sheep to the regular slaughters in the name of GOD or ALLAH.A gypsy hex/curse on them all.

Of course it's disgusting. These people are fanatics, they are not normal. They are living in the stone age. There is no humanity there, they are sub-human. And they do this in front of their children, I mean do we really need more people like this on earth. They are sickening.
Hi T, It may be religious leaders that whip them into a frenzy, but it's the mindless drones that follow along blindly, and believe anything spewed forth from the demon clerics vile mouth.
Durimed: What economy? What resources...sand? Do you think anyone wants their paltry little oilfield? The biggest thing we export there is arms, food and aid. Alot of good it seems to be doing, poverty stricken, uneducated animals. The rich siphon off the aid and poor follow them blindly like hungery dogs waiting for a scrap.
There diplomats are a joke, I could get better lip service at a cat house.

I haven't seen that yet because I was taking the dog for a walk. I shall certainly look out for it though.
Some of the Imams seem very good at whipping people up into a frenzy over slightest slur against the Muslim religion. I wish the Church of England had a few firebrands defending Christianity.
From a personal point of view, I think the teacher was very foolish and naive to name a teddy bear Mohamed. When you are working in a Muslim country, such trivial comments can cause great offence. She should have known better.

They are easily stirred up in the mosque to behave like this. It's their religious leaders are at fault, many of the common people don't even know what it's about. Shows what Islam is like. It's a good thing not all religions are like this. Though many where a few hundred years ago. As was the Governments of our country. It wasn't so long ago that people where deported to Australia for stealing a loaf of bread, or imprisoned and whipped. But you just don't expect that sort of thing now.
If you have Google Earth you can go to Sudan and see whats happening there.

No, they've done themselves a massive disservice. Stupid and ignorant unfortunately.
Many of them protesting won't be well educated or able to read and the mullahs will have spun the story to whip up hatred and make sure that they are the ones who stay in control of people's lives.
Still, a starving child, is a starving child - I'll still give when necessary and thank God that I live in a free thinking world and pity those who don't.

Have said before that I think our Government should intervene asap using diplomatic channels and if that fails send in the SAS. It also has to be a warning to other meddlesome christians - stay out of this kind of country or be willing to face the consequences when you fall foul of their laws.

Absolutely.
And I'm sorry that I am going to get accused of racism here (I'm not racist but you only have my word on that), but perhaps it's about time we started bringing in some stronger deportation laws for lesser crimes here.
Apparently you can get away with inciting hatred in a mosque if you're an adult, but not in a classroom to amuse a child...

Just think why we send aid and why all the foreign workers are there.
Economy, resources (oil) etc.
The economies in the West have grown from other countries resources.
Its too easy just to say do this, do that.
Leave it to the Diplomats, they are the people who will eventually sort this.

I totally agree. Let the muslims sort out their own f*cking problems - I am utterly sick of hearing muslims whine and whinge about their people to the West all the time.
Lets leave them alone - the only thing I agree on is we SHOULD LEAVE PALESTINE. Taking it for the jews was immoral and wrong.
Then leave them to sort their own problems out.
