Elsie, what a lovely way to speak. I KNOW the answer actually, and it is NOT because it is ST ANDREWS day.

Robert the Bruce was crowned King of Scotland on this day 1292.

Please take that King Edward off of your shoulder and STOP being so racist. There is nothing in my question that indicates any hatred on my side toward the Scottish. YOU need to grow up lady.

If there is a Saltire flying over Westminster Abbey, good ,it should stay there. It,s about time Scotland ruled England, and taught them some sense.

EDIT** just joking everyone !!

You are talking absolute crap. Robert the Bruce wasn't crowned King of Scotland until 1306! Why don't you read a history book instead of trying to sound clever, when you quite clearly aren't.

Surprised there wasn't one there sooner being as for most of the last 10 years Westminster has been run by Scots stiffing the English to help the Scottish.

When did St Andrew visit Scotland then - I thought he was one of the Apostles that lived in Israel/Galilee/Judea and died in Rome.

It is also St. Andrews day, for the uninitiated.
