Is a Teddy Beat a kind of musical rhythm around in the 50s danced to by people in pink suits?? Do they allow that in Muslim countries??

Probably because it is not in any way funny , especially if your are this unfortunate lady or one of her family /friends
The whole situation is ridiculous and is really down to the Sudanese trying to make a political point .
We should pull back any help , like teachers , we are giving to counties like this until they are able to behave like a civilised society . yes we in turn have to be aware of cultural differences and feelings , but even Muslims in this country are totally divorcing themselves from this decision . It is a total nonsense , get this lady home now !!

Nope not me... Personally I think it's shameful that we're just standing by allowing those ignorant bedouins to be marching and asking for her execution! What is this- this 3rd century B.C.? Why is the international community allowing the cartoon crisis to happen all over again? Take a stance and say ENOUGH. YOU MUST BE TOLERANT! The world doesn't function according to your beliefs, and there exists something called HUMAN RIGHTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTS.

Please read more about the story. It is not fun at all. In countries where Muslim rules like this one the teacher surely will loose her job , but she has to fight for keeping her life. According this terrible Muslim so called laws she could be killed or as a women stoned to death if the crowd is in mood for that.

yes but apparently a teddy bear is not viewed in the same way we view it.. to them it is a vicious animal.. but we all have to aware we have different customs and values and therefore dont mean to offend!

Yes I have! in our local news in CA and on CNN, when it first came off the wire.
Now that this situation is actually serious, which is beyond words at this point, they are taking it seriously.

It is ridiculous....it's so funny, I could cry. If we all stopped giving aid to this country, maybe just maybe it would have a different attitude. Worship "your" God but leave the rest of us alone.

Sod tolerance. Just ignore the Muslim world and don't go there. They don't like us. Fair enough, give therm nothing.
