Some months ago Kate and Gerry McCann announced all blase that they would be only too willing to take a lie detector test to 'prove' their innocence ?

We now read that the Kate McCann has refused a lie detector test from one of the UK's leading experts in this field.

Don Cargill, the chairman of the British and European Polygraph Association, said he was "shocked" by her decision.

Mr Cargill, who is the official lie detector expert on TV's Trisha Goddard TV show, said: "I spoke to the McCanns' people and they came back with a list of conditions that would have been impossible to satisfy.

"They wanted me to prove the test would be 100 per cent accurate, that I was the world's best examiner and that it would be admissible in a Portuguese court - but I could not guarantee any of those things."Although polygraph testing is very accurate, it is not infallible."

Clarence 'McLiar' Mitchell said "Gerry and Kate don't need to do one as they are telling the truth."

Why should I work hard so other people who choose not to work hard get my tax money? Why should I support someone who comes to this country illegally? Why should I pay for someones horrible lifestyle choices? Why should I pay for someones health care when you can work at Starbucks part time and get health care? Its not that hard!! I have to write a ten page paper on why China's economy is something the US should be worried about and all I can find is stuff about their GDP and obviously I can't write an entire paper on this. Help! Why else should the US be worried?

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said on Saturday that oil prices could more than double to $200 per barrel if the United States attacked Iran over a standoff about Tehran's nuclear program.

"If the United States is crazy enough to attack Iran or commit aggression against Venezuela ... Oil would not be $100 but $200," Chavez told an OPEC summit in the Saudi capital Riyadh. His remarks were translated into Arabic.

Chavez also said $100 per barrel was a "fair" price for oil.

Oil has lapped against the $100-mark this month, prompting consumer nations to call on the exporter group to help ease price pressure by providing the market with more crude.

On Friday, Saudi Arabia objected to an attempt by Iran and Venezuela to highlight concern over the dollar's weakness in the summit communique and the group voted the proposal out.

Venezuela is a price hawk and holds some of the largest reserves outside the Middle East and is the no. 4 US supplier.

A convicted sexual offender, fresh out of prison, manipulates and lies his way into the life of an 11 year old boy. He calls the boy's school, pretending to be the boy's father, and finally gets the boy away from his family, after several failed attempts. He was last seen getting into a U-Haul truck with the man.
He is found in a footlocker, dead. He has been raped by the man, and asphyxiated to death.
A Supreme Court in Jacksonville just gave this child molesting killer a stay of execution, citing that the drugs that are mixed for the execution might cause pain that is not detectable.
Is there something wrong with this picture? They should tie this guy to a post, and beat him to death with baseball bats!

The first time they concluded that it wasn't suicide, and wasn't murder....this time, they say that it was definately murder and not "accidental"

How did they decide that it was accidental the first time? How do you accidentally drown yourself?

Maybe I'm just not thinking outside the box, could someone enlighten me?

oh, and also tell me if your opinion on this, was this a case of obvious incompitence or an easy mistake to have made the first time round?
