My daughter IS dyslexic, and has been accepted for University.
She thinks that it is very funny, but then again she is not PC either!

If your daughter found it funny, then Im sure plenty of other dyslexics would too. Some people on here think its funny to laugh at a child that has gone missing, but get all high and mighty about something like this, dont worry about it.

.This may have been humourous to some people. However, it would certainly not be funny to somebody who suffers from dyslexia.
Random letters would not really be dyslexia - it is more of the mixing up of letters within a word and not being able to read or spell, which would result in not being able to understand what was being written.
You would not think it funny if you were dyslexic. Perhaps you ought to check out about dyslexia in order to understand the condition and how it affects people.

You may not have intended it to be insulting and I believe you but what matters is how others interpret your answers. You should have put in something to make people understand that your intentions were to be humurous

Well, if it was chosen as best answer the asker couldn't have found it offensive. The same has happened to me - get best answer and then it gets deleted, strange - mine was deleted because I was chatting apparently.

Obviously more people thought it was worth reporting AFTER it had been chosen as best answer - possibly they were even rather upset BECAUSE it had been chosen best, otherwise they might not have been so bothered ! ! !

Sometimes being funny can hurt someone feelings, especially if they are serious.
