aside from whether or not these people did anything regarding their missing child...WHO in their RIGHT mind believes that it is practical to leave three children age 3 and under alone?

You are so right! Its just like all thd reports of children being left in cars, or the stories of countless times kids 10 or 12 find a gun in the house and shoot themselves or a neighbor's child. WE have got many people whom are parents not being parents! Very sad :(

No it's not practical but what's done is done. All they can do is learn from their mistake and all we can do is hope people learn from their mistakes.

well it's easy for you to decide that someone else did something wrong, but what will you do to help the kids in the future by educating folks and giving them the tools and abilities to do this. try to understand why this happens and take action to make sure it doesn't happen to other children in the future. blaming others will not help. do something about it. volunteer as a big sister or foster parent or parent educator or something to help this terrible problem
