Why should I work hard so other people who choose not to work hard get my tax money? Why should I support someone who comes to this country illegally? Why should I pay for someones horrible lifestyle choices? Why should I pay for someones health care when you can work at Starbucks part time and get health care? Its not that hard!! Why should I pay because people are brainwashed by the one-sided liberal media's ideas? This is ridiculous!!!!

The "other side of the coin" is for our federal governmnet ot realize that A- they need to be infinitely more responsibel wit hthe money they are given by the people, and B- that local entites are far better equipped and informed to deal with social issues. Democrats by no means have the market cornered on tax and spenders, but they did get the reputation from somewhere other than Rep. campaining. The sad truth is even most GOP don't put their money where there mouth is on spending control and keeping the fed's ego under control.

That's what democrats do, tax and spend...and whatever you spend in taxes, you ultimately (in theory) reap the benefits of by way of public works...and also, I hope you aren't suggesting that illegal immigration is a "horrible lifestyle choice"....you'd very likely do the same if you grew up in poverty just south of an obscenely wealthy nation.

The other side of the coin is to simply borrow the money we need from other countries who now own us. This debt is now the burden for our children and their children to pay. You really think any party can run a country this size for free?
