I don't think we should be against the war on terror, because radical islam does want to wipe America and its allies of the map. The war in Iraq is a totally different subject.

There is no "war on terror". This is a phrase Bush uses. It is a war against the previous ruling class of Iraq. These were not terrorists. They supported a dictator, but they were not terrorists.
The "war on terror" was supposed to be in Afghanistan. That's where the terrorists were trained. Not Iraq!!!!

My god! People believe the terrorists were from Iraq because Bush tells them to think that!

iam not against the was on terror, but iam against this current war. i believe that we were bamboozled into believing that this war was necessary. i think immediate troop withdrawal should begin. there are to many children dying over there.

nice sound bite, war on terror. the very nature of terrorism is its an underground war fought from cover and stealth, it cannot be stopped, except by an honest approach to the terrorist and take away his reason for it, it will never happen until the cost is too high, what a fantastic world it would be without the terrorist both state sponsored and regular.

A war on terrorism is being fought. It is working, but it will never end. Terrorist attacks have dropped dramatically. To win a war, you must totally defeat you enemy unconditionally. The people of the United States have a short memory and no stomach to continue what needs to be done. We worry to much about the "feelings" of our enemies and/or other people. Unless the terrorist kill thousands of our citizens again (God forbid), folks will grow softer and softer toward this war.

Why would anyone be against the war on terror? That's the dumbest question I've ever read. Count me as a "no."

Not I. Islamic fundamentalists want to bring down the West - they hate everything about it and they want to return us to the stone age. Just look at some of what the Taliban did in Afghanistan - no schools for girls, women forced to wander around in tents, women forced to give up jobs as doctors, nurses, lawyers, music banned, gays beheaded, the beautiful ancient statues of Buddha destroyed the list goes on and on.
