Is this really in the Yahoo news today ?! It seems to me US coffin making companies would be losing $$ to increase in popularity of cremation... as every last one of us will still die.
What do you think??? and... which do you choose (cremation or burial) and why ?

This story is starting to remind me of the Soham murders of Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman, with the story above stating dogs have sniffed a corpse, will we see them arrested and reveal they killed her and played the public just like Ian and Maxine????

A new al-Qaida video threatens embassies with deliberate attack.

It is a fundamental rule of civilized people that has existed for centuries that embassies are sacrosanct and cannot be deliberately attacked. (Please note the key word here is "deliberately")

The Prophet Muhammed, blessings and peace be upon him, himself sent and received ambassadors, both protecting those he received and expecting that those he sent would be respected. Muslim rulers throughout history have sent and received ambassadors and observed the rules of diplomacy.

al-Qaida's threat therefore proves that they are neither civilized nor true Muslims i.e. they are barbarians and apostates.

What is the cause of this and what should the world's reaction be?

Earlier today CNN aired a video on some black guy putting down obama and questioning Obama's eligability to campaign as a black candidate. The biased item sure looked like something the Clinton hit men would air. Perhaps CNN should chance it's name to the Clinton News Network.

Why does our president hold hands with the leader of the country who provided the men who attacked us?

ok, me and my mom have this theory that it did not colapse, that there was a bomb involved. we watched the news and everyone that saw & heard it do not say, it went, crack, they say that it went, BOOM BOOM or it sounded like an explosion. plus, this morning, the news had a tape from al quida saying that they will terrorise our country. 3 days after the bridge fell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! what do you think about this theory and what are yours?

having read this http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20070804041432AARKdK1 and the subsequent comments, I just wanted to say thank you for your comments, even though I don't see eye to eye with you, I apologise for mentioning you in my question and if I could delete your names I would.
This whole business is actually quite stressful for me and I no longer have any idea who I can trust, who has multiple ID's who says what to who. And the idea that some people think dragging my child into it is acceptable just appalls me.
While you're all having fun participating, try to remember there's a sick child involved, at least have some decency about yourselves

A lot of leaders have been using the term "peace in the middle east" or "peace for Iraq" to justify what they do. Even Osama Bin Laden claims he wants a peace for the middle east. To me this could mean many things. It could mean:

1. A democracy throughout the middle east
2. The destruction of Israel
3. The TOTAL genocide of the other religion (shiites or sunnis, throughout the whole middle east).
4. The enabling shiites to set up a shiite government in Iraq, while giving very little or no power to the sunnis
5. A global Islamic caliphate set up with Iraq as its captial
6. It could even mean the complete collapse of terrorism
7. It could also mean the collapse of all democracy in the middle east, including Lebanon's government returning to the control of Syria.
8. It also means the unity of Israel and the Palestinian nation for peace.
9. Or it could even mean the status quo of instability throughout the region

In my view this phrase is used too much, by too many different leaders.

and not fess up to the English who have to read this carp on the McCanns.

From a recent Sol report (thanks Dteacher for the heads up)

"A journalist with the Daily Express – who has repeatedly contacted Sol searching for new information on this case – recognized this week that it is 'difficult for an English newspaper to adopt a critical tone concerning Madeleine’s parents'. The Daily Express cited, in one of its last reports, the news that has been published by Sol, describing them as a 'hate campaign' against the McCanns. The same journalist ended up confessing, 'It's the only way we can transmit your data'."

i cant help but wonder from day to day where this world is going. every day a new terrorist to fear and then we are told that a "top al queda" leader was caught that we have never heard of, but we feel safe knowing that he was caught. I think the real terrorists are in our goverment offices. They inflict more terror than Osama ever could. The term "war on terror" makes no sense. It is a war on an emotion and a feeling not a war on a physical group or being. Because if we were to name it a war on a group, it would just be a war agains Islam and that is not PC with us. We need to stop this nonsense people. stand up let them know that you are not playing around anymore. Tell your leaders you will not stand for this anymore. Protest. Do you know how much of our taxes are funding killing of innocent people. Do you know ho much you support the war everytime you fill up with gas? Who do you think is the real terrorists of the world? Osama, Bush, Putin, or even you for supporting them?

American government spend millions of dollars in Iraq in a day one wonders why they did not heed ealier warning by engineers concerning the bridge, why fight terrorism outside and neglect your own citizens, I think now is the time for America to do a rethink concerning its policies, they have an intimidating recources the best in the world, but what the use if things like this happens, it could happen any place in the world, this i agree but my concern is why did the government neglect the warning of their engineers some years back only for this to happen, I was sad to see what happened on CNN. My heart bleed for those who lost loved ones do to government neglect. I WHANT TO KNOW WHY DID IT HAPPENED AND WHOSE FAULT IS IT.
