A lot of leaders have been using the term "peace in the middle east" or "peace for Iraq" to justify what they do. Even Osama Bin Laden claims he wants a peace for the middle east. To me this could mean many things. It could mean:

1. A democracy throughout the middle east
2. The destruction of Israel
3. The TOTAL genocide of the other religion (shiites or sunnis, throughout the whole middle east).
4. The enabling shiites to set up a shiite government in Iraq, while giving very little or no power to the sunnis
5. A global Islamic caliphate set up with Iraq as its captial
6. It could even mean the complete collapse of terrorism
7. It could also mean the collapse of all democracy in the middle east, including Lebanon's government returning to the control of Syria.
8. It also means the unity of Israel and the Palestinian nation for peace.
9. Or it could even mean the status quo of instability throughout the region

In my view this phrase is used too much, by too many different leaders.

Sorry, but

I don't want to hear references from any part of the bible, especially from Revelations. I don't hearing about this, I want to hear about your ideas and what is real in today's world, not from the bible which has wild predictions.

It seems like the world wants to make some of these predictions true though, like there is something behind the scenes, the ILLUMINATI, NO way, did they write the bible and the history that will follow it. Are they the ones making this prophecy's reality. I always hear these Rediculous rumors about them, and I DON'T want to hear it anymore.

The middle East does not want a democratic government, they despise this.
The do hate Israel. Israel can take care of Israel though.
Genocide is the top of their list, they like killing.
Your right about the rest. We should leave, bite the bullet and let them do what they want until it's over, contain them though, keep them in the middle East.

Cut them off with embargo's as we've done with others and disable the oil wells, they're to poor to get them going. Keep others from using them.

There will never be peace in the Middle East. They will continue to fight, until Jesus appears on a cloud in the Eastern Sky to bring home His Saints.

Then all Hell breaks loose. Russia and Iran along with some Muslim Countries will attack Israel, then Egypt will join in, The E.U. and Western Nation (USA) will join, and 200, million men from China will march across the Euphrates River. The horror of things to happen is beyond the human mind.Blood will flow for two-hundred miles as high as a bridle to an horse. You will wish to die but you will not be able to.

WHEN THEY SAY A PEACE/TREATY HAS BEEN SIGNED, THEN LOOK UP, FOR THE APPEARANCE OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR.

If your hearts are not right with God, then you will be left behind to go through the Tribulation period.

This battle will last for seven years, after this time all unsaved people and Satan will be thrown in the like of fire forever and ever. A place of no return!

This is where the last battle between good and evil will be fought, know as "The Battle Of Armageddon"

Peace in the Middle East means the world has come to an end. They have been fighting since the beginning of time in the middle ease. As far back asa history goes there has been conflict between tribes in the area.

The only type of "peace" they could have would be the peace they would experience without the US poking our nose in their business.

We don't need to be there to stop terrorism. Bring the troops home and tighten up on security here.

But as for the Middle East, there will never be peace. There are too many differernces in opinion, and the only method of problem resolution is by the gun.

"Peace in the middle east" was probably started by former hippies that wanted to buy a perfect world without actually paying for it.

It probably started during the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and more recently mutated into whatever form it currently has.

Realistically speaking, peace in the middle east will not be feasible until Islamic societies crack down on Islamic supremacism, in the same way that the US has cracked down on racism within its borders.

Peace in the middle east means an uncontainable goal. There will never be peace in the middle east. It was told in the Bible there would always be this hatred and animosity between the people there. Whenever a leader says they are going to try to broker peace in the middle east I always want to say learn your history.

Peace in the middle east would mean a giant meteor crashing into the mid east area and "silencing" all fights between muslims the same way one "silenced" all fights between dinosaurs.

Lot of people still think Israel/Palestine thing should have been dealt with before Iraq. It does seem like that's where lot of hatred originate.
