Well, I didn't agree in principle with the Iraq war, however my government did. They were warned that after Saddam was defeated there would be civil war, but they went ahead just the same
Every country has an army for that eventuallity. Every soldier who joins up today has to be aware that he may be sent to a war zone.
Now Britain and the USA have gone to war and there is now civil war, we started the mayhem and we must finish it. The troops will be there for many years to come. I know everyone wants to get out, but do the two greatest nations on earth just walk away because the going gets tough, I would hope not, because Iraq will become even more of a disaster

The troops are over there fighting a battle that will never be won. The war is a lost cause. We need our troops on American ground protecting what our president has left wide open for another attack.

I feel bad that they were sent over there to risk their lives for no good reason. I support the troops and all that they are going through. They are very brave. I just wish that they were home with their families where they belong.
