"First of all we have Morocco. We drove up to Lisbon late this afternoon to catch a flight to Casablanca where embassy officials will meet us. We were surprised to learn that a 20 seat propeller plane was sent instead of the larger aircraft. Luckily Kate, Clarence and I got squeezed on although we were certainly rather apprehensive about flying on such an aircraft- it reminded us of some of the internal flights we took in New Zealand in the mid 90’s."

Who are the other 18 seats for if they had to 'squeeze in', their entourage?

I know a few people on here really dislike them but consider it on the basis that you knew they had nothing to do with it.

I dont think their campaign will help find Maddy, but that is just a viewpoint, but on the other hand they could get some comfort in the future out of raising awareness of these revolting people who snatch and molest children.

Re The McCanns.

When the topic pops up over the water cooler or at the bus stop are you honest in saying what you think or do you go with the majority and nod politely saying 'that's terrible'?

Squeezed on a 20 seat flight? Oh how terrible..fancy having to sit on a 20 seater plane squashed up like sardines while Madeleine is going through God only knows what..I guess they have been spoilt by the private jet ride to Rome. Does this comment incense anyone else or is it just me?

Chances of Madeliene having been taken to US vs. having been abducted in Europe and probably already dead?!

The parents need someone around them to stop these pointless visits - they have done enough now and I think they need to stop for their own interests and that of their remaining children.

this was in the last segmant of his latest statement. it made my blood run cold.
"The couple have said they have no intention of returning to the UK at least until the end of the summer and Mr McCann, a cardiologist, rejected suggestions he was planning to go back to work part-time.
"I might have to go home for meetings, but Kate and I have no immediate plans to leave Portugal," he said.
"I cannot think about anything else at the moment other than finding Madeleine. I do not know if I would be safe to go back and practise as a doctor at the moment."
The McCanns are due to fly from Casablanca to Lisbon before driving down to the Algarve, where their daughter was kidnapped."
if they fell they have done nothing wrong why is he making a statment like that. whats up jerry are you afraid of getting what you deserve, and are you scaird that someone will take the law into there own hands and get justice for maddy. maybe now you are starting to realise how scaird maddy must have been eh???

N.P.R. Radio says man has been kept in solitary confinement since 2001 without ever being charged in Alabama Prison. Court orders BUSH to charge him or release him, and that his Constitutional Rights have been Violated... He was never charged, but was only being held on suspicion of Terrorism...

Do the people have a President?
I have voted for Bush. I believed he was the best candidate, and maybe still would be except for this one flaw: he does not listen to or act for the American people.
If he read the comments on message boards such as this, he would know how the majority of citizens do not have faith in his immigration plans. When cities are not allowed to decide to uphold federal laws with their resources, when states do not have enough of anything to stop the flow of illegal aliens, and when law-breaking non-citizens are favored over honest, hard-working citizens of previous legal immigrants, The People cannot find the government we all thought we had.
I refuse to dangle a carrot of citizenship to an illegal alien, simply to get more money for the government, while others who do not wish citizenship are still given free reign to be here with the same amnesty as they are given today.
Does anyone know why this complex plan will work, when the simple in-or-out doesn't?

The president said the Senate effort (for a no-confidence vote for Al Gonzales) was irrelevant. Bush thinks that Congress is irrelevant, American people in it's majority are irrelevant, peace is irrelevant, death of more Americans in Iraq irrelevant... Why aren't we having a no-confidence vote on the monkey?

Will it be quick and decisive? Drawn out and uncertain?

How do you think it will go? Will we need a draft, in order to have suitable troop numbers?

Will it be a roaring success, or the linchpin of stunning calamity?
