Of course he did. There is such a thing as due process of law in this country, something that Bush ignores because it doesn't suit his agenda.
But then, I am not surprised. This is the same guy who considers it his "right" to read our mail, wiretap our phones, etc., etc.
Bush will be remembered harshly in history for his complete disregard for the Constitution, something he swore to "preserve, protect and defend".

I dont know if Bush has anything to do with this? It is up to the states attorneys office to bring charges or release him.
It is definitely a violation of his rights, and if Bush had anything to do with it, and can be proven, he should be thrown out of office.
EDIT.
Bush has no right to hold ,or order anyone held. If this person is suspected of terrorism, then its up to the law to decide how long they hold him. They must have strong evidence to hold him that long.

Need more information on this one.
Is this man a US Citizen?
If not, he has no constitutional rights.
People always go on and on about the constitution, next time someone does that around you ask the any three random 5th grade level questions about that document and you find 90% of the time that they have never read it.

I doubt that Bush knows anything about the case. There are many law enforcement agencies and and officials that may have handled the case. The President doesn't get involved with the jailing of one individual. You nuts that blame Bush for every imagined injustice in the world are really out of it. C'mon get real!

I believe it's a violation, but in times of war, "the war on terror" Bush might be validated in his actions. V for Vendetta depicts this point and the unrest it causes very well I believe.

Nattering they just want to blame him for everything right? You do know that he stands on the beaches of Florida raising his hands up in the air and speaks to the hurricanes. Ha Ha. Its getting ridiculous blaming him for every little thing but hey if this guy is a terrorist then leave him there.
