I know that Keith's Mum, Winnie, has dwelt on Keith every day since his disappearance.

I guess that the Search function on Yahoo isn't working tonight - this same question has been asked (and answered) over a dozen times tonight. It was the planet Venus, which has been that bright in the western sky for several months. It will be visible for another month, when it gets too close to the sun's glare to be visible to Earth for a while. If you're just noticing it now, you missed this same event at the end of December and again at the end of January. And at the end of November Venus, Jupiter, and the crescent moon appeared very close to each other (that won't happen again until May 2010).

it's like I've been saying all along - the McCann's priority is not to find Madeleine. "Not dwelling on Madeleine' how could any mother make a statement such as this? I am the parent of a beautiful 2 year old boy and just the thought of anything happening to him makes me want to cry and turns my stomach inside out. So, what does Kate and Gerry mean by their statement that they are 'now going to refllect'? Obviously they should reflect on their negligence towards their children. Why should they? They've got everyone else in this world searching for 'their daughter' while they have an entire summer in Portugal.

I do not want to give the impression that I do not care about this child but it seems that every nuance of these parents behaviour has been under the most intense scrutiny ( whether it is a photograph which as everyone knows can be very unflattering at the best of times) or a phrase or sentence taken out of context and why people feel the need to do this is beyond my comprehension, it is so dishonest. I refuse to buy newspapers especially Murdoch's because the reporters/editors sensationalise everything and anything in order to get people to buy the papers. Sky news is also owned by Murdoch and his philosophy for that is the same as with his tabloids if there ain't no news make something up, so I would take anything they said with a pinch of salt.

I am not trying to defend the behaviour of these parents and if, at the end, they are found to be culpable then I would shout just as loudly as everone else for their heads, however, everyone in any shape or form of responsibility from the pope down has given them them the benefit of the doubt, and I assume that he would not have done so if the parents were at fault. Really, there has been very little real evidence given out other than media speculation, and that is hardly conclusive.

I have said from the very beginning that something is really not right about all this. The situation to start with, the lies, the inaccuracys, the media circus. They have not acted from day one like parents who have lost a child only like very guilty, selfish money grabbing tourists! Hearing Kate say that has only made me even more convinced that a misjustice has been done!

"Not dwelling on Madeleine" is an unbelievable comment to make, especially from her mother. If your child is missing, how could you possibly not dwell on that. Again, I am left amazed by the parents comments and actions. I wish one of the P.I's would investigate them, or, is that why they won't hire one?

I have never witnessed a more cold and unaffected couple as the McCanns. Yes, that quote is quite disturbing.

Their neglect of their three little children is astounding, and makes you wonder just how much care they do have for their offspring. For nights they left them unattended in an unlock room while they enjoyed their holiday (even though there was a babysitting service available). Personally, they should be prosecuted, as would anyone else who had left their young children alone.

is anyone really that surprised...they should what kind of parents they were the minute they walked out of their appartment for their meal, leaving their children alone. How many parents can honestly say that they could do that? not many I suspect, I certainly couldnt.

Its disgusting how they have been since that little girl went missing....topping up their tans in foreign countries, and making stupid remarks like the one you have quoted...makes you wonder if it is all as innocent as they are trying to make it look.....Its only the child I am feeling for, I have to admit. you would not think to look at them they are a daughter missing. all the trips, all the media attention, all the running here and there, all the scams and lies. they do not look like parents who have lost a child. no cheers, no emotions in fact no to everything. they should get their heads out of the clouds and face reality.
