Chances of Madeliene having been taken to US vs. having been abducted in Europe and probably already dead?!
The parents need someone around them to stop these pointless visits - they have done enough now and I think they need to stop for their own interests and that of their remaining children.

Piltown man - I am not an anti-McCann person at all so you are wrong. I don't agree with leaving kids along and I don't think dragging themselves around the World is going to get the kid back either and I am just expressing that view. I feel sorry for them.

Lexy - there is ZERO chance she is in the US - have you checked out getting into the US recently - its tighter than a ducks ****!!!! No - they want to keep it in the headlines but its just destructive to themselves and they appear to be losing sight of their objective.

I just think its all so desperate! The little girl is missing and I know they are trying to find her but drumming up the world media is not going to do them any good ... They are only risking whoever is holding her to panic and kill her because they are affraid she will be found! ... I think that they should return home and just wait! ... if this happened for every child that went missing there would be roaming parents everywhere! ... I just hope she is brough back safe and well ... sod the parents and their mindless galivanting!

You can say it is hard to get into the US but the TB guy got in through Canada and they even had his photo info etc etc and were told not to let him through but they did anyway so there are holes in our border control. illegal immigrants are getting in daily. I would not say it is 0 chance they can get in the US. Maybe Madeleines face should be shown a bit more in the US but I do think the likelihood of her being here is small but not 0.
I have a feeling that the PR person is calling these important places and asking to be seen and these important people are afraid to say no because they would get slaughtered by the media if they did. Any word on JK Rowling yet? Did she say yes to the bookmarks? She did not offer to do it they asked if she would.

And the circus wagon just keeps on rolling!
Crazy, this couple are so detached from reality. The fact they thought it was acceptable to leave their children alone night after night speaks for itself with regard to the level of common sense this pair execute in their daily lifes.
They have no idea that people are holding them accountable, they can't even put their hands up and say WE WERE WRONG PLEASE DON'T DO THE SAME THING. But no, they make feeble attempts to justify their actions.
How on earth would anyone be able to smuggle a child into the USA with their tight airport checks?

They still have hundreds more countrys to visit on this McCann tour yet so dont count on them coming home for a while. Then there will be the film, the book etc. They will milk this as much as they possibly can! I only wish I knew where all the money was going, I wouldn't actually mind if I could see something constructive being done with the money!

The potential to grow their business in the USA is too tempting. With an American population of over 300 million, the Mccann's could see the value of their company soar, as product recognition develops over there.
Cynical? Why Not? I have said all along that something is not right, everyday i see proof of that.
I know some people will find my point of view offensive. I find the bizarre behaviour of Team Mccann offensive.

The McCanns are only themselves to blame for what they did. They should not allow them to travel around the world, it is one big mockery, especially with all the other missing children who has never even has a sniff of one TV appeal, for their safe return.

When would you decide enough is enough.
If someone said their is a remote chance she is in America, as a parent, wouldnt you go? As long as they are following leads, no matter how small they dont have to accept the horrible truth that their little girl may be dead.
At what point, without a body, or the child returned do you say ok enough is enough, even though logically you know there is no hope.
Im not getting into the blame thing with this answer, about what they should have done before her abduction.
