Keep in mind that OPEC and other oil-producing countries like Russia have all built refineries in order to sell oil products processed from their country's secure supply of domestic crude oil. The exporters, OPEC and NON-OPEC all want and often insist that the Oil importing nations and Multinational OILCO's buy their products rather than their crude oil because they make even more money per barrel of processed oil than they do selling it raw as crude. Did you know that the volume of products processed from raw crude oil is greater than the volume of the crude? Consider this little know Fact: There is a very lucrative 10 to 15 % volume gain when refining crude oils into gasoline and pertrochemical precursors. Having built refineries at home, the OPECkers and other oil exporting newcomers obviously want consumers to pay off their refining investments and they have the power to make it so.TWH 05222007-2

Funny old world is it not?

Yesterday's headline was - 'chief of police says there are too many surveillance cameras in our communities'. Ergo, Does he want us to get rid of them ?

TODAY - police are looking at camera recordings hoping to catch those who set fire to the Cutty Sark. (A very sad event.)

Who finds this rather ironic?

If you consider how many guns there are in the country (250 million) compared to how many illegal gun deaths (20,000), you get one death for every 12,500 guns.

As a fraction, that's zero point 00008 percent of all guns are used to murder.

I see that the Democrates are happy when bad news happens, and they use that bad news to try to get hate toward the soldiers and the president. Dont they know that al-Qaida is using the US news media to try to turn the US public against the war effort to build Iraq. Al-Qaida is killing muslums, yet no one seems to mind when they blow up innocent muslims, yet the Democrates blame Bush for the terrorist blowing up muslims. I really have to wonder, are teh Democrates really that stupied, or are they working with Al-Qaida to turn the Americian public agaisnt the war effort?

quoting
She said quality pre-kindergarten programs will more than pay for themselves because children will be less likely to enter special education programs, drop out of school or enter the welfare system. She also said preparing children for school also reduces behavioral problems.
quoting
"We consistently fail to invest in what will save us money."
1.) To truly invest in what makes us money, what's wrong with the economy by giving working people back more of what they earn. They will spend it and increase the gnp making more tax revenue instead of welfare schemes.
2.)If our four year olds need to depend on the government instead of parents and families to ready them for school, isnt that symptomatic and proof postive of the FAILURE of this type of social welfare diatribe ms. Clinton is proposing?
3.)Per dollar on special ed kids, how good is a univerasal spend spree?

Do it if you haven't, the more of us complain about this nation being held hostag by the oil companies can only help. If you remember a couple years ago it started going up during the aftermath of the hurrican season and the President brought out the national reserve. There was a reason for that one. This one seems to be greed and miss managment and I think as much as I hate to get the government involved in anything, they need to get involved and put some presure on these greedy basturds. Election is over now I know but there will be another one coming up and if you remind these people this maybe they can listen a little better. What do you think?

and the news channels show prices as high as $4.33, and the current price where i live is at #3.59 per gallon (suburbs outside chicago) wouldn't that mean somewhere out there the price of a gallon of regular gas would be $2.05? iget that figure from $4.33(high shown on TV) minus $$3.19(national average) which equal a difference of $1.14 -- now take the posted average $3.19 and subtract $1.14 and you get the $2.05. If so where in the united states is the price of one gallon of regular gas only $2.05??? and why will the news channels not show us where these places are at?

if someone has problem with the math in my main question -use this for an example
5 + 10 + 30 + 55 = 100
100 divided by 4 = an average number of 25
the news channels only show us places with prices of 55 or we live in places with prices of 30. where are the locations with prices of 5 or 10??

Its time to stop blaming the president for gas prices and hurricanes. Its time to stop blaming it on the war. Its time to look at it as it is. It's a monopoly and price gouging.
To think the gas prices are due to refineray problems is rediculous. It's not by chance the price goes up every April, goes down every August, back up a little at Thanksgiving and Christmas, then back down until April again.
Yes, we need to address global warming and the war and yada yada yada..but the gas prices should be viewed as criminal.
Gas prices are actually changing my summer vacation plans. I never thought that would be the case.
Future Mr. President. Promise you will prosecute any oil/gas companies that are doing this to us, and you will have my vote (unless its hillary..not getting my vote). You certainly wouldnt let me get away with it!

* Jews of Israel are the known enemy for the Palestinians, drove & deprived them from their homes, land & country.
Put them under seige till this minute, daily killing them & destroying their homes.
* The pro west arab government (Egypt,Jordan,Syria,Lebanon,Lybia,Old Iraqi government), had killed palestinians in total more than the number killed by Israel. Example :- 1970 in jordan, then in Syria, then throughn out of Lebanon to Tunisia by the syrian army while in Lebanon, satisfying by that the aim of israelin 1982.
* It is very sad to mention all these facts, But the Palestinians are hit & squezed from evey direction.
** I don't blame the Arab people! i only blame their betraying governments, who use their weapon only against their citizens.
