Seems to me that it was more of just vandalism from a small band of disenfranchised radicals in greece, and has nothing at all to do with everthing else that we're calling 'terrorism' in the world today.

As an American, I do not feel safe. I can think of three good ways that a terrorist could hit us. Do you think that this could happen?

A terrorist uses an EMP. If you hook two inductors up in a parallel circuit, with a large power supply, two resisitors, a switch, the inductors will work against each other and either fry out, or it may create a Electrical Magnetic Pulse, able to disable computers and power grids.

The terrorist go to the Berkeley hills with supersoakers full of gasoline on a hot summer day, and create another horrible firestore, like the one in 91, something I lived through.

The terrorists gather a bunch of people and have them randomly hit people on the streets in a coordinated attack, like the SF rampage last year.

I dont know guys, should I be worried?

Everytime we as Americans show nonsupport for our country ,our Armed Forces and for our President, the terrorists raise their hands and chant in Victory.

American Servicemen and women are being charged with war crimes such as the Abu Ghraib incident. Although I do not agree with this treatment it pales in comparison to the torture of coalition troops fase if captured - Cutting off their heads with a dull knife while their captors jump for joy at the agony while chanting and calling for continued Jehad. Do you really think that the terrorists would give OUR people a break and not torture them. Wake up!

As Americans we should support our troops and our country. We have the most humane and fair country in the world. Stop playing into the hands of the terrorists. By nonsupport you are allowing the terrorists to win, to eat away our way of life.

Our Country and our military has done an excelent job of keeping the terrorists off our shores.

I ask because it is a fact that U.S. Forces entered/attacked the Iranian Embassy in Iraq yesterday and then today someone attacked the U.S. Embassy in Athens, Greece. The media is calling the attack on the Embassy in Greece an act of terrorism, but NOT the attack the U.S. Forces did on the Iranian Embassy yesterday.

Call me crazy, but I cannot see any difference in the acts. What do you think? Who really are the terrorists? Are terrorists anyone who doesn't agree with President Bush?

myself:
You bet they are! They are out of control- beyond a makeover and bootcamp. They should raise the driving age to 18 or 21; make them ride those skateboards and scooters for a few more years! And they should bring corporeal punishment back in schools! One smack with a ruler will make Johnny learn to read! And no sex education or condoms in school! In my days we tied it with a string and dealt with it! And they should raise the voting age to 21. This way we can send them off to war and they cant vote their way out of it! And all music that registers above 3 on the ricter scale should be banned! It is madness waking me up at 8pm! And pull those pants up! so yes0 bunch of spoiled rotten kids- what do you think?

The soldiers in Iraq are people you and I went to school with, family members. Why is Bush planning to send 21,500 more of them into that country? For people, it seems, who do not want us there, and should be doing this for themselves.
And please, don't give me that BULL about supporting America. Not everything our leaders do is right.

For over 20 years (since I really cared after leaving school) I've read very little positive comment about the British PM (Thatcher, Major, Blair). That's two different partys leaders who have been subjected to differing degrees of accusations of ineptitude, inadequacy, fascism etc. etc.

I hear the same on sites like this from the Yanks (and also from the Brits who feel they know enough) about their leaders.

So how are they in power?

Okay terrorists kill people at will and at random. I don't care about what they think is at stake or what they believe anymore when they kill children still being wrapped in blankets and held in their mothers arms. So do you think we should allow a war to continue by conventional means? Or should we fight terror with terror. Bomb their schools. Blow up cars down their streets. Hit them at random until they bring all their terrorists up for execution in the public square on national TV.

Women, too, are inferior in Abu Usamah's eyes. He tells his audience: "Allah has created the woman - even if she gets a PhD - deficient. Her intellect is incomplete, deficient. She may be suffering from hormones that will make her emotional. It takes two witnesses of a woman to equal the one witness of the man."

The Lancet report estimated in late October that about 655,000 Iraqis had died since the American invasion of Iraq. Since around ten thousand more have lost their lives.

On December 31st 2006 the death toll of American Soldiers reached 3000, more than the number of people who died in the WTC (which, granted has absolutely nothing to do with Iraq).

Why is it that the majority in America is calling for the withdrawal of troops and an end to this invasion, only now that it is clear that the USA is not able to win this war and the American people aren't prepared to lose more troops?

With nearly a quarter of a million civilian Iraqis dead already as a direct result of Bush's intervention in Iraq, do you not think it's about time we started valuing human life rather than doing so only on condition that the person whose life is to be saved has the same passport as you?

How can we as Americans know what good for this country? Who made us an expert? We don't even know why the different tribes are fighting? We don't realize that half of the wives of the leaders in the Middle East are from Syria. We don't realize that IRAN is persian and Syrian are Arabians. We must learn to work together, and find a solution. I would try that then sending 20,000 more troops, but 20,000 UN Peace Workers. The problems that this country has with America is "Trust." You forget we killed their relatives and cousins. Everybody in these countries are related on these borders. Resmember this was the Ottoman Empire. Most of these people re not fighters.
