Of course they are. This is the order of how it works in Islam.
1. Allah
2. Mohammed
3. Imams/Mullahs
4. Men
5. Camel
6. Dog
7. Pig
8. Women
Ok, this might be a bit exagerated...but that "good book" does put women down which is why women in islam are treated the way that they are.

Abu Usamah is not fit to be a preacher. It's men like him, that give Islam a bad name.
Men and women are equal in Islam. Neither is superior over the other except in piety.

Women is no inferior I think the women are superb as they carried out the unique gift to keep the generation alive. If there's no women I doubt if Abu Usamah would become what he become.

Funny, a lot of Christian fundamentalist writings say the same thing.
"And a man will choose...any wickedness, but the wickedness of a woman...Sin began with a woman and thanks to her we all must die" Ecclesiasticus, 25:18, 19 & 33. 1
"As regards the individual nature, woman is defective and misbegotten, for the active power of the male seed tends to the production of a perfect likeness in the masculine sex; while the production of a woman comes from defect in the active power...." Thomas Aquinas, Summa Theologica,Q92, art. 1, Reply Obj. 1
Heck, a lot of public writings from the United States of the 1950s said the same things, mostly things that emphasized women’s submissiveness and confinement to housework as being 'their place'.
Are women viewed as inferior in Islam? I'm sure SOME do...just as SOME no doubt do in various other parts of the globe. But those would be people beliving in FUNDAMENTALIST beliefes...which most Islamics aren't. If they're not simply Unorthodox, they're members of sects of Islam that have branched and developed on their own...just as many Christians no doubt reject many of the teachings of Aquinas and Ecclesiasticus.
Now if you'll excuse me, I have to give this woman a black eye for not being in the kitchen making me a sandwich.

I think, a wife is inferior. The reason according to the religion is, as the husband has to lookafter her and earn for her, she is inferior.
I think there are no other restrictions on them.
