As an American, I do not feel safe. I can think of three good ways that a terrorist could hit us. Do you think that this could happen?
A terrorist uses an EMP. If you hook two inductors up in a parallel circuit, with a large power supply, two resisitors, a switch, the inductors will work against each other and either fry out, or it may create a Electrical Magnetic Pulse, able to disable computers and power grids.
The terrorist go to the Berkeley hills with supersoakers full of gasoline on a hot summer day, and create another horrible firestore, like the one in 91, something I lived through.
The terrorists gather a bunch of people and have them randomly hit people on the streets in a coordinated attack, like the SF rampage last year.
I dont know guys, should I be worried?

We got hit on September 11 because what they did was UNIMAGINABLE. It's not the government's job to make everything nice, to prevent anything bad from ever happening.
The fact that they haven't hit America since then shows we're not very vulnerable. The government is protecting us well. But you never know, we could get hit again at any time.
You should be worried, but you should live your life. And you should pray for America and the rest of the free world.

Look man. Define terrorist and you'll see that anybody could be one of them. When you're scared everything is possible. I am very sorry for what you went through at Berkeley, but the world is not a pile of terrorists. If you refer to the present war, well it's gone too far. Needs to change Aile's. Al-Qaeda is not in Iraq. Need to catch Osama sometimes this century.

You can always live your life with what ifs. An aeroplane could fall out of the sky and land on top of you....
The American Government does a good job of causing widespread fear and panic but where does worrying get you?
Enjoy life and dont worry so much!

You should be afraid of terrorism. We live in a country where they are free to roam around and prepare their plans to kill us. You should always worry and be aware of your surroundings, however you should not panic. You should be prepared. They caught us off guard because we were dumb enough to believe our government would protect us. Boy, were we wrong. We are all going to die, this is how it is. However, we don't have to live in fear. You need to read the Bible and this will help you calm down. Thank you and GOD bless.

If you truly are worried and feel vulneable, then... they've succeeded in what they are trying to do. They've created terror in your life. And that is not acceptable. If you give in you lose.
If you let the powers that be attempt to do there jobs, we can only hope things will never happen, or if they do it won't be on a grand scale.

everybody is fearful of terrorism not just in the U.S that is why its called terrorism. i think you just have to go about your life and try not to worry about it too much. there will always be extremists that go to any lengths to get their point across but its good to remember that they are in the minority.
