Was this emotional display sincere, or a public relations ploy designed to create sympathy for an embattled president? What do you think?

I haven't seen the photo, but I cannot for one second believe that this man, the President, can muster up any emotions other than greed with regard to the Iraq war. He has no concept of sacrifice, since he has never sacrificed anything in his life. He has no concept of honor, valor or responsibility since his parents never taught him those values and he was never expected to display them. For him to cry genuine tears at such a ceremony would strike me as insincere. Perhaps his regret was that he was missing an important TV show like Bonanza.

As a Marine, seeing the family receive a great honor like that was moving. I have done funerals in the past, and after the 21 gun salute and the flag presentation to the family, it is very hard to get the words out "Thank You from a grateful nation". I think there have been about 6 Medal of Honors given out at this time. Did you also see the other Medal of Honor recipients in the crowd? If it were Clinton, I would think the tears were fake

i Havent seen it but im pretty sure they were fake. He dont give a Sh*t about what happens to the people of this country, only himself and his family. If he did care he would pull the troops out now before we lose anymore of them. This war should have never started in the first place. Hes a liar and a coward. But I think we will be in Iraq until he gains all control over there oil....Thats the real reason we're there.

I love seeing whiney liberals calling others cowards. Libs are the biggest sissies of the lot. Bush is not a one-man war machine. It's hilarious to see you all blaming one man for the actions of many. Sissy bitches!
