North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) is a joint organization of the United States and Canada which provides aerospace warning and control for North America.

Why didn't NORAD fulfil its standard operating procedure and intercept the planes? Was NORAD intentionally confused by the wargames taking place on the morning of 9/11 or were they ordered to stand down?

Explain why air defenses categorically reversed Standard Operating Procedure and failed to respond to the hijacked jetliners.

If the towers were burning at such a high degree (3000) that would warrant the steel to melt, therefore possibly collasping them, why were there people standing in the gaping holes in the buildings waiting for help. Wouldn't it have been too hot? There is footage of them standing in the crevices of the buildings. Before some begin to jump to their deaths.

Again, 3000 degrees is the temperature needed for steel to melt.

As a paralyzed Vietnam Vet I will never forget John Kerry's traitorious remarks made years ago calling myself and my Brothers-in Arms all manner of names from "Baby-Killers" to "cowards" upon our return and now, our brave brothers and sisters are "stupid"?

I want to state that, 'Mr. John Kerry is not only a man of questionable honor but he should apologize for making statements that not only insult every brave young man and woman Serving but but give yet again, "Aid and Comfort to the enemy.

We will now do everything humanly posible to mobilze the Conservative Base not necessarily to Vote to support current policy and Incumbents but to vote "against the Democrats" and the Nancy Pelosi San Francisco Values that party holds to!

This was the best thing he could have done to energize our base!

Now, how will the Far Left Wong ACLU Adorijg Liberal Dems expalin away this one...

"He was mis-quoted" or maybe, "His statement was taken out of context" or maybe he meant it?

Seems like we don't like to hear the truth, or as it has been stated: "you can't HANDLE the truth"

That's why we need to fire our doctors when they tell us to stop eating so much, drinking so much, no exercise...

And another reason as a society we are becoming slaves to major drug companies...just see your doctor...and pop a pill...that'll make it all better.

I want to puke after reading this article...the guy should have been writing article to the American Journal of Medicine, but now he's out on the street.

GOD, help us!!

in a bad situation. How could John Kerry's words have been interpreted as anything other than exactly what he said...Paraphrasing here..."get smart or stay stupid" "Learn or repeat the bad mistakes"

Not once in any of the replays of his comments did I hear him say "American soldiers are too stupid to do anything other than fight and die in Iraq".

So it may not have been stated most eloquently but I believe John Kerry has every right to say it and to not be forced to apologize by people who never have served for a single second.

I'm sorry people felt it was a blatant and outright insult - perhaps you heard it was insulting but you didn't actually hear him say it? Or perhaps you are just too on edge because you have a loved one in danger in Iraq due to the ignorance of the bush White House. I just didn't hear an insult to the serving soldiers.

How much control does the Iraqi Prime Minister have over our forces and what does this mean for the outcome of the conflict? Yesterday, the Prime Minister ordered the US military to remove all security check points surrounding the city of Sadr. Vehicles now freely exit and enter the city unidentified. What does this mean for our continued efforts? Will things get better or worse? Does our administration have final say or do the Iraqis? Why is this not on the front page of our news sites?

I personally do not agree. The reason I do not agree is because we have marked North Korea, Iraq, and Iran as the Axis of Evil. But President Bush has not done anything about North Korea, even when it showed a threat to make nuclear weapons. North Korea has shown a bigger threat than any of the other countries, so what do you guys think?

A guy was sitting on a train. Opposite this guy sat three people in a row. The person in the middle of this row of three people, was staring directly at the guy throughout his journey, whilst the other two sitting either side looked suspicious. As the guy got off the train he realised why the person in the middle was staring at him constantly: he was actually dead and the two sitting either side had killed him. Anyone know where that story is from? thanks

It is undeniable fact that more women and many of them highly educated revert to Islam than men. Some of them had been acive preachers of Christianity and obtained Quran only to use it as weapon against Islam. If Quran and Islam were agaisnt Women, they would have never covnerted to Islam at all. When foreign relief teams came in last year's devastating earthquake in Pakistan, some workers almost shocked to see Muslims women dominating in Universities and Medical Schools. Yan Ridley who was once very hard enemy of Talibans, after studying Quran became so strong Muslim that she is now running Islam Channel in London.
Islam gives woman absolute respect, voting right, share in property of her father, mother and husband etc. Islam frees woman to earn bread and butter for the family. In Muslim world today there are far less divorces despite the factit is very easy to dovorce. In Islamic world the family is far stronger.
Islam gave superb human rights to women. Isalm eliminated slavery etc

Anything to keep the daily disaster that is Iraq off the headlines.
Here's a few good reasons to apologize to the troops and their families. See if you can figure out who owes them one.

1. For asking them to lay down their lives for a lie and continueing to lie when those lies were exposed.
2. For pretending to support&care about the troops while you underpay, underman, underequip, & ask them to do a job that you did not train them to do.
3. For pretending to care about them while simultaneously cutting funding for their healthcare when they get injured.
4. For bungling the planning and execution of the war/reconstruction and asking them to lay down their lives playing referee in a civil war.
5. For using this war as an oportunity to enrich yourselves&your friends with corrupt no-bid contracts & sending cronies to oversee the rebuilding
6. For listening to pundits instead of the experts who told you that this would go exactly the way it has.

4) Muslims gave you modern numbers and lajebra to calculate infinitely
5) Muslims gave you decimal systems
6) Muslim surgeons were using catgut sutures and inhalation anesthesia 1000 years back
7) Ibn-e-Sina's book of Medicine and Zaharawi's book on Surgery were standard text books of medicien and surgery for 700 years.
Unbised Jews and Christians recognize that they treated them very well. Despite centuries ruel over Spain and India Muslims remianed as minority. Quran made Muslims to do all this!
