I would treat my family, about 60 people, to an island vacation for as long as they could get away from work up to a month.
Then when we got back I would set up college funds for all the little ones.
I would visit a fat farm to get rid of the 15 pounds I can't seem to lose on my own.
I would treat my husband and his friends to a golfing vacation in England.
I would buy my 22 year old daughter a small home.
Then I would stop for about 4 months to catch my breath and re-evaluate our life.
Wow...that was fun...thanks.

My fiancée and I think about that a lot...and we have such fun spending it. Our needs are little, after all we have one another, a home and our health, so the first thing we’d do is share with our families. We would assist them in whatever way they needed and then put money in trust for their children’s education. We would like to help the really needy, but would research the best ways to do that; giving money to charities doesn’t assure the end result we’d like. There are so many ‘causes’ here in America, so many needs…we would want to help children and animals as they are the innocent bystanders of our society….we too, have a dream! ;)

Buy a house. Nothing too fancy. Just enough for me, my girlfriend and five dogs. I would alsos start up a dog shelter and park in central Arizona. We'd have some electric vehicles and a couple of ATVs. Of course I would help out my friends and family. The very first thing would be the house though.

pay off my debts (20k) buy a suiteable piece of land with planning permission for a house and a big shed, built both, fill the shed with engineering tools and machines , and go back to honest to god engineering again, as i am sick and tired of this three day wonder engineers nowadays who think they know something, only change out parts, and are utterly useless.some of the cash for the R.N.L.I. (they are the only charity in my book worth anything) and the rest to build up the business and to employ more people

After this governments stealing of most of our savings with yet more taxes for their own benefit I would spend it very wisely by employing someone from afar to tell me the best way to reach the maximum potential on the amount won, having first ensured my immediate family was taken care of.

you bugger off to Cornwall paying someone to bin every begging letter you will get for the next few weeks/months You invest enough to live on without threat to your immediate family being
kidnapped and blow a bundle in prada or somewhere equally overpriced and ridiculous....
THEN you walk into your local neo natal ward or childrens hospice and hand the bloody lot over
Not rocket science is it?
And you could do it- it's a load of crap that you couldn't spend that amount of money.

I would make sure myself and family are ok, then I would do a lot of charity work. mostly for the respite homes in this country which dont get much goverment funding ( coleen is promoting this), they do so much for ill children it really should have full goverment funding, but this country doesnt seem to care that much for its own people

You do not spend it all. After taxes that will be much less. Talk to a money manager. Invest it, live on the interest.
