North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) is a joint organization of the United States and Canada which provides aerospace warning and control for North America.
Why didn't NORAD fulfil its standard operating procedure and intercept the planes? Was NORAD intentionally confused by the wargames taking place on the morning of 9/11 or were they ordered to stand down?
Explain why air defenses categorically reversed Standard Operating Procedure and failed to respond to the hijacked jetliners.

NORAD had done test simulations with airplanes being used as weapons. Do the research. And why would NORAD sit back and let two planes crash into the towers because they were not supposed to control America's planes?
Do you not see how absurd that sounds?

Why didn't NORAD fulfill its standard operating procedure and intercept the planes? Might the answer have anything to do with VP cheney being in charge of NORAD that very morning, of all times? His first time at the "helm" since the executive branch had just acquired that power within NORAD in June 2001? I used to drink Kool-Aid, then I found TAB.

NORAD on 9/11...I've got two words for you: Payne Stewart.
Remember that Yankees ballplayer whose Cessna just crashed into those hi-rise condos in Manhattan a couple weeks ago? THAT PLANE had NORAD and fighter jets tracking it, just as standard operating procedure dictates. But not on 9/11. Because IT WAS ALLOWED TO HAPPEN.

I personally believe 9/11 was allowed to happen, but not because of NORD's late response. As you may know each plane has to file flight plan or path. Not sure now but in past these were filied away for future use or to give some order approaching airports. The planes weren't due to land for hours, believe after first strike they did start checking field flight plans and did find plane that crashed in PA, but only remember discussion on procedure had to happen to give order to shoot down, and think had that plane got closer to Washington and Bush didn't crap his pants it could have been intercepted and shoot down.

There where far more forces at work in the 9/11 incident than will ever be known in any detail by anyone let alone you or I.......
There were entirely too many snaffu's all lined out in a row to be conincidental by any stretch of the imagination......
There is one thing for sure--this country was in a divided state of mind on alot of various issues on 9 / 10 of 2001.....by 9 / 12---we were "all simply Americans" --- a change that could only take place in the face of trauma or disaster---and-- there are people in powerful places that know this !!!!

Hey! I did the research, and I found out that there were these radical muslims.. about 19 of them, and they all had box cutters, and murdered stewardess' and pilots, and they had taken flight lessons, and they intentionally flew into buildings, murdering all of the people on the airline, and murdering more in the buildings. Except this one plane, it only had 4 murderers, and the passengers were actually able to fight the murderers and crashed the plane in a field instead of a building. It was investigated on multiple levels (media, government, private investigations). We even have all the murderers names, and it even started a war. You are disrespecting the lives of those brave Americans who fought against the murderers, and those who died defenseless by their diabolical plan. Stop being so silly and realize we were attacked by radical Islam.

NORAD is set up to detect forgien planes or other in coming missiles and not plane that start in the U.S.
Sorry that you feel that their is a conspiry going on by the government.

There is no way that your government would even tell it's population 30% of the real story behind 9/11. If only the X-files was still on the air! Seriously, I wondered that too. I guess it was the timing, officially, I think it took the pilots 5 minutes too long to get in the air, and then they weren't told where to go specifically.

Why doesn't anyone living in this country have some kind of faith in it??? Everyone always has doubts and negative feelings no matter what we try to do to handle things. We could go as far to say, Why didn't security "catch" something before they even boarded? I personally STILL don't think security's as tight as it should be.

Because they were commercial airliners not some random plane flying around....I think if they knew what was going on they would have done something about it....as far as the conspiracy theory I don't believe the hype

the only person that can authrize downing a passenger jet would be the president and he was busy reading to kids. a better question would be who told the secret service to stand down? why wasn't the president taken to safety until after the attack?
