Gee... wouldn't it be interesting to see Kerry go to Iraq and speak to the assembled troops there and watch his reception? Hey.. he supports them.. doesn't he? So why hasn't he ever done it?

It's the same thing he has been saying since he came back from Vietnam. John Kerry was a founding member of a veterans against the war group which was later found to have people lying about their service and they lied about committing atrocities. Kerry caused young people to hate our troops then and he's still spitting on our military today. The terrible thing about it, is that he has been voted in the US Senate all this time.

I don't think that he was trying to criticize our troops. He said on some talk radio station that he was trying to make a joke and that he botched his words and was sorry about it. You can tell on the video of the speech that he paused waiting for laughter, and he received nothing but silence. Now I am not a democrat, and i actually voted for Bush in 04', but let's give him the benefit of the doubt. I mean bush himself has botched up a joke or a saying quite a few times during his presidency. Plus this is politics! It's a dirty game!

i visit wish for the persisted protection of our troops. something more effective is in basic terms partisan, divisive garbage. On 2d idea i visit recite your prayer, leaving off the "less than Bush" area in #a million, the " by technique of comments from John Kerry" area in #2, and could pray for Ted Kennedy's persisted sobriety. i don't think of the White abode is having a "Chirstmas party" (your misspelling, not mine) this year. very last year they despatched out "Season's Greetings" playing cards, not Christmas playing cards, so i will anticipate they'll be having a "holiday party" particularly... As for Roch Cop's comments, evaluate the source. i does not believe bill O'Reilly to recite the alphabet, now to not teach get his information instantly about charitable giving. Brooks wrongly assumes in his e book that religious everyone is conservative and secular everyone is liberal even as, surely, no such distinction can, or might want to, be drawn. Am I without be conscious a conservative because i visit Church?

I think the point he was trying to make is that so many men and woman leave high school with no prospects of a decent future, the military is their best chance for income, housing, medical, food,
advancement, college funds, job training. Unfortunately they tend to be the lowest on the food chain and the most likely to be in a war zone. College grads on the other hand go into the service as Officers, probably the lowest on that food chain, but an officer has a better chance of survival, or staying stateside, or of avoiding the military entirely.
Granted it was a dumb thing to say, but I did get his point. If he doesn't believe in sending our men and woman to war, then I praise him, for I don't believe in it either. Does that mean I have no respect for our solders? No it does not, but I would rather have them fighting for a reason. Bush says we fight them there or we fight them here....it's to complex for me, so I do not bad mouth either side.

It was not OK . Kerry loathes the U.S. Military-that's why he was the only swift boat veteran to serve only 4 months in Viet Nam . He applied for war medals for his self inflicted ban-aid wounds ; then used time off to attend secret meetings with the enemy-for which he is now honored in the Communist war museum as a hero who helped win the Viet Nam War against America . This contemptible display against our U.S. Military is typical John Kerry . Today's Recruits are at an education level of 98% compared with the national average of 75% . Kerry is the stupid one .

He's a stupid flip flopping LEFT winged nut wack and he should not only appologize to our President and the troops he should face sedicious libel charges and be removed from office and prevented from ever running for or holding another one ever again. It's bad enough he's got a lesbian for a daughter. Does he always have to run off his mouth and destroy any if all chances of the left ruining our congress. At least I've got one thing to thank him for. The last thing we need is left winged nutwacks in congress and the white house. Stupid homosexual baby killing bastards.

It was a completely stupid comment. I question if he was saying it in the context of how people are taking it but it was very stupid.
