Bill Gates is the richest man in the world and right behind him is Warren Buffet. All you have to do is go to Forbes.com and you can get a complete list of the richest people in the world. Bill Gates was worth more about 5 or 6 years ago but he was forced to break up his company by the government due to monopoly reasons.

Well as far as his own money its Bill Gates with something like 53 billion. But that Sultan of Brunei is WORTH more, he doesnt actually physically have the money like Gates does, but his whole country sits on top of oil fields....
