Absolutely! I agree Reps exercise bad judgement all the time. This is why I have categorized this under "current events". DOH!!

LuvPinkPuf.. How are you making this a race issue? In case you haven't noticed, Dems get a bad rap about being soft on terror all the time, sometimes unfairly, and then one of their own does something as asinine as this. It's just ludicrous!

By the way, I was a Democrat until 96. It's the whole notion about Dems being soft on crime, terror and hating on the rich that keeps rearing it's ugly head. You want to change the party, be my guest. The Reps got some work to do to, obviously. I am just a thought provoking independent. Admit it, if a REP did it, you would laugh too!

Yes I know about this.

But, you can't associate all democrats with him. He is one guy and he doesn't necessarily represent the whole party.

Republicans aren't perfect either. That's why I'm non-partisan since I can't find any political party that I agree with 100%

Do you think our President represents how all Americans are? Of course not. So, making sweeping generalization doesn't help to unite us, it divides us.

We need to work together and come together and stop this partisan crap.

What the hell does this have to do with being a Dem or Rep? I know Republicans who wave guns, real guns, at lots of things, so who cares?

You know something about human nature, do you? there are people who use bad judgment every day on all political sides. Am I surprised? No. This was a bad judgment call on his part to be sure, so it was when Kerry did not explain correctly where he was aiming and so did Bush when he became the "liberator" of Iraq.

I second in full sbdmania's answer. Nuff said. This political fence and left or right and crap needs to stop. How can a divided nation stand? It can't.

But does this change the fact that W was busted for DUI?

Nooooooooooo..................

Address the issues, and not the party. It's like you saying you don't like black people because they are....black? Got something more than that?

No I"m not surprised that a democrat would have the balls to protest against this crooked government.
