Last week my girlfriend went out of town and she asked me to look after her house and feed her parrot. Everything went smoothly for the first couple of days. On the third day, I took my ferret with me. Louis, that's my ferret's name, ate the parrot and took a crap on her new white carpet. He didn't crap out the parrot because he had just eaten it, but whatever it was, it was long, sticky and hard to clean up. It left a big brown stain on her carpet. I was watching T.V. and eating crackers when it happened, so I couldn't have prevented it. I bought a new parrot that looks just like the one Louis ate, and put some white out on the carpet stain. My girlfriend is back saying that's not her parrot and asking why there's sh*t with white out on her carpet. I explained to her it wasn't my fault and that I had spent a lot of money on the new parrot, but she's still angry. Why is she being such a baby about this whole thing?

Bush is visiting Vienna today and the hotel where Heads of State would normally stay is occupied by The Stones - this means that Jagger got the Presidential Suite and Bush had to go stay at the second-rate Intercontinental.

Thanks Mick for gettin' Smiddy some satisfaction!! Isn't that just the most splendid thing you've heard all day?

Shouldn't we flood Iraq with millions of troops? Is Bush irresponsible? Does his own service in the National Guard during Vietnam have something to do with this?

Why do the Japanese hunt whales? I know the answer is scientific research, but really. I also know the historical argument that this is a cultural thing, but I doubt that extended to the Southern Ocean. Lots of people are now calling for a total boycott of Japanese products, so why for the sake of a few hundred whaling jobs do the Japanese persist? Is it pride, fear of admitting a mistake I don't get it?
